As we say goodbye to March and welcome April, it's a beautiful time to pause and check in—with your goals, your energy, and your intentions. Whether you're finding your rhythm or needing a reset, the beauty of yoga is that you can return to your mat anytime, just as you are.

Spring invites us to create steady routines and healthy habits, not through pressure, but through presence. Each class is an opportunity to nourish your body, calm your mind, and stay grounded in what matters.

✨ This Week’s Tips to Flourish in Mind, Body, & Spirit ✨

Mind
Carve out five minutes each day for stillness. Let silence be the space where clarity and focus can rise.

Body
Revisit the basics. Slowing down and refining foundational poses helps build strength, alignment, and confidence in your movement.

Spirit
Practice appreciation. Even in busy seasons, finding one thing to be grateful for each day can shift your entire perspective.

✨ Classes Offered Three Times Per Week ✨

To get the benefits that yoga has to offer, we now offer classes three times per week. When practiced consistently, these classes are designed to lengthen, strengthen, and restore range of motion in a mindful way.

We offer yoga classes for all levels of ability. Focus on breath posture, alignment, flexibility, balance, strength, and endurance. Each class will have options to increase and decrease the intensity of the poses according to each student.
Drop-ins are $25, or you can purchase a class package for a discounted rate.
Class size is limited, so signing up before class is strongly encouraged.
Bring a mat, water, and a towel.

The Benefits of Yoga for Balance

Last week, we explored how yoga supports mobility and movement. This week, let’s take it a step further and focus on finding balance—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Balance is more than just standing on one foot. It’s about creating stability in our bodies, grounding our minds, and cultivating a sense of peace in daily life. A regular yoga practice strengthens balance by improving coordination, focus, and inner harmony, both on and off the mat.

Physical Balance – Yoga strengthens the core, enhances coordination, and improves posture, reducing the risk of falls and injuries.

Mental Balance – Breathwork and mindfulness in yoga help regulate the nervous system, reducing stress and promoting emotional stability.

Emotional Balance – The practice of yoga encourages self-awareness, patience, and presence, allowing us to respond to challenges with greater resilience.

As we move through February, it’s a great time to focus on mobility and movement—key benefits of a consistent yoga practice. Many of us deal with stiffness and tight muscles, whether from daily activities, workouts, or simply spending too much time sitting. Yoga helps by increasing range of motion, improving flexibility, and keeping joints healthy.

The Power of Mobility in Yoga

As we approach the holidays, we’re entering the final week of yoga classes before our winter break. Let’s finish this year strong together, prioritizing movement, mindfulness, and community during this busy season. This is your last opportunity to join us on the mat before classes pause for the season.

We will follow the RISD holiday schedule so our last class of the year will be on Thursday, December 19th. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 8th, so we encourage you to take advantage of this week to recharge, reflect, and prepare for the holiday season ahead.
