Our recent NYC Theater Tour was so good, it deserves an encore! 🎭 Our Dallas Angels took over the Big Apple from October 22-26 during a great trip filled with fellowship, delicious meals, and amazing Broadway performances! 🍎 ✈️ 🍽️

After checking into the Lotte New York Palace, our members were transported to The Gilded Age with a welcome reception at The Gold Room. This bar is part of the historic Villard Mansion, built in 1884, which has been integrated into the . 🌟

Over the next few days, they took in performances of The Outsiders, Death Becomes Her, and Just in Time! A big thank you to all who attended this action-packed trip, and a special shoutout to Laura Kellogg and Julie Macatee who graciously coordinated the itinerary and scheduling. Hats off to these fabulous alums! 👏🏼

For more than 20 years, revered philanthropist and Pi Beta Phi alumna Ruth Altshuler organized a Holiday Food Drive out of her home, which directly assisted local agencies and the families they serve. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

In 2017, with Ruth’s support and guidance, Pi Phi alumnae Liza Collins and Rachel Stephens (and University of Missouri roommates!) brought back this special event and have since collected more than 45,000 pounds of canned goods and other non-perishables.

Ruth passed away in December 2017 at the age of 93, but her legacy continues. 💫 We would greatly appreciate your support again this year! 🫶🏼

Take a look at last Sunday’s Pi Phi “Trick or Treat” at the Texas Beta house, where alumnae and their kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews were invited to attend! A special thank you to Whitney Cardwell and Emily Holmes for planning such a festive event, and shoutout to the SMU actives for their hospitality!

A great time was had by all! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃🎃🎃

On October 21, our Dallas angels gathered at the beautiful home of Sterling Evans for our October meeting called “Heavenly Homes with Heart.” 👼🏻 🏡 💙

Featuring speakers Cynthia Collins (TX Alpha) of , Meredith Ferrell (TX Alpha) of , and Christina Dandar of , the program highlighted all things home: hospitality, design, architecture, inspiration, and preservation! All enjoyed touring Sterling’s beautifully preserved historic home, which was featured on the Park Cities Historic Home Tour earlier this year.

Our club’s Shining Arrows group had a fun and festive Wine & Shine on October 15th! Texas Beta Cayla Atha, aka The Savvy Spoon, taught the group her tips and tricks on how to arrange the perfect charcuterie board for entertaining. 🧀 🍷 🍇

Thank you to our wonderful Pi Phi alums who volunteered with active SMU angels at Readers2Leaders last week! 👏🏼 We are grateful for the 23 women from Pi Beta Phi who helped make this a fun-filled and educational afternoon. 📚

Readers2Leaders is a literacy organization serving Dallas Kindergarten and elementary students with after school and summer reading instruction. Its vision is for all Dallas students to become proficient readers. ⭐️🍎🚌

Our club is honored to partner with by providing volunteers as well as books for students to take home. 📕

What a fun night at our Sip & Shop event last week! Dallas Pi Phi’s popped into the fabulous Lele Sadoughi store in Highland Park Village to mingle with each other and designer Lele herself! 💃🏼

All enjoyed shopping her eye-catching collection of accessories and new line of official National Panhellenic accessories. It was a special treat to shop the Go Greek collection featuring Pi Phi headbands, bows and jewelry. Angels left with an extra sparkle on their wings! 🪽
