Researchers at Texas Woman's University Department of Occupational Therapy are conducting a survey to learn more about factors that impact transition to adulthood in young adults with autism.
If you are a parent or caregiver of a young adult with Autism level I, Asperger’s Syndrome, or High Functioning Autism, ages 18 to 26 and are interested, please click the survey link below to participate. Clicking on the survey is considered your consent to participate:

If you get stopped by the police, would you be able to speak to them?

Social anxiety/anxiety can really interfere and some have been arrested for not cooperating (or not talking).

In Texas you can file a certificate for communication impediment that will inform officers that they need to use other means than talking of getting the information needed from you.

Just wanted to let everyone know that while we had to cancel last month's 3rd Friday Meetup for ASD/Asperger's we are back on track now - and actually looking forward to this working out and being able to reach more people distance-wise! We are now going to conduct our 3rd Friday Meetups via Zoom and play an online game together.
