Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Memorial Day is a reminder of the courage, selflessness, and love that can change the lives of others for generations to come.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and pray for the families carrying the weight of loss.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

From all of us at Grace Matters, we remember and honor those who served.

The chains you're carrying may not have started with you. But they can end with you.

1 Peter 1:18-19 reminds us that we have been ransomed and set free by a price greater than anything this world could offer. A freedom that breaks not just personal bo***ge, but generational cycles.

You were not made to live in the patterns of the past. You were made for something so much more.

Grace Matters exists to help people step into that freedom with faith, community, and grace that goes all the way down.

Did you know that people in recovery are up to 3x more likely to maintain sobriety when they have consistent community support?

Addiction is one of the loneliest battles a person can face. But isolation is also one of its greatest weapons. When people are surrounded by community, accountability, and faith, everything changes.

God saw that too. Isaiah 57:18-19 isn't a vague promise. It's a declaration. He sees every way we've stumbled, every road we've taken, and His response isn't judgment — it's healing. It's guidance. It's restored comfort.

That's exactly why Grace Matters exists.

We surround people in recovery with the community, resources, and faith they need to not just survive — but truly rebuild. Because the research confirms what Scripture has always known: nobody heals alone.

If you or someone you love is fighting this battle, reach out. Support changes outcomes. And grace changes everything.

Let us be your support and community 👉gracemattershere.com

You don't have to win the battle today. You just have to remember who's fighting it with you.

Recovery is hard. But you were never meant to face it alone — and you don't have to.
God is for you. Grace Matters is for you. And that changes everything.

Recovery asks a lot of us. But perhaps nothing is harder than learning to forgive yourself.

The mistakes. The bridges burned. The time lost. It's easy to believe that even if God can forgive you, you can't forgive yourself.

But Joel 2:25 reminds us that God restores. He doesn't just fix what's broken, but gives back what was lost. Years. Relationships. Hope. Identity.

And He doesn't wait until you have it all sorted out to start. He meets you exactly where you are...in the mess, in the shame, in the hardest moments of recovery and He keeps fighting for you even when you've stopped fighting for yourself.

That's the God we serve. And that's the hope we carry at Grace Matters every single day.

If you're struggling to forgive yourself today, let God's love be louder than the guilt. He's not finished with you yet.

Faith doesn't mean you never fall apart. It means you know who to fall apart in front of.

Billy Graham understood that. And so does anyone who has ever been on their knees with tears in their eyes asking God for one more ounce of strength.

That moment isn't weakness. That moment is worship.

If you're there today, you are not alone. Grace Matters exists to walk with people through every hard, honest, messy moment of recovery. Because that's exactly where grace does its best work.

No matter what you've done. No matter how far you've gone. No matter how many times you've fallen.

In Him, there is redemption.

Ephesians 1:7 tells us that through Christ, we have been redeemed — our sins forgiven — not because we earned it, but because of the riches of His grace. A grace that doesn't run out. A grace that doesn't keep score. A grace that meets you exactly where you are.

That is the foundation of everything Grace Matters does. We believe no one is too far gone for redemption. We believe every life has purpose. And we believe that the same grace that transformed our own lives can transform yours too.
If you're carrying the weight of your past today — you don't have to anymore. That's what the cross was for.
