He is risen.

Today is a reminder that no matter how dark things have been, it is not the end of your story. There is new life, new hope, and true freedom through Him!

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

Because He lives, there is always a way forward. Grace is still working. Healing is still possible.

We hold onto this truth with you. You are not alone, and your story is still being redeemed.

Good Friday is a quiet reminder of just how deeply we are loved.
In the midst of pain, sacrifice, and surrender, Jesus made a way for healing, restoration, and new life. Whatever you are carrying today, you don’t have to hold it alone.

“By His wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

His grace meets you right where you are. His love covers every broken place. And through Him, healing is always possible.

At Grace Matters, we hold onto this truth. There is hope, even here.

Step 10 is about staying aware and choosing growth every day. We continue to take personal inventory, and when we are wrong, we admit it honestly and without delay.

Think of this step as a daily check-in. A quiet moment to pause, reflect, and realign your heart with God. Small, consistent steps like this keep you moving forward in freedom.

“Search me, God, and know my heart… lead me in the way everlasting.” — Psalm 139:23–24

After making amends, you might feel heavier than you expected. This space between Steps 9 and 10 can bring up a lot, and that is okay.

You are still moving forward.

Lean into God here. Ask for strength, for healing, and for the right people to walk with you.

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” — Psalm 31:24

We are praying for you. You are not alone in this.

“If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” — Romans 12:18

Step 9 can be daunting but this is where courage meets healing. Making amends takes strength, honesty, and a willing heart, but it also opens the door to freedom and restoration.

That should stir your heart to hope because you are not defined by your past. With God’s help, you can face it and move forward.

Step 8 asks us to look honestly at the ways our actions have affected others. It is a time to acknowledge the harm we have caused and take ownership of our choices. This step is not about guilt or shame; it is about clarity, responsibility, and preparing our hearts to make amends.

By naming the people we have hurt, we open the door to healing for ourselves and for them. God meets us in this honesty and gives us the courage to move forward with integrity and grace.

At Grace Matters, we walk alongside you through this step, offering support, guidance, and a community that encourages accountability and transformation.

Humility is the heart of Step 7. It invites us to pause, release our pride, and ask God for help in removing the patterns and behaviors that hold us back. Recovery is not about doing it alone. It is about leaning on the One who gives strength to the weary and restores what has been broken.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6

At Grace Matters, we walk with you in this step. Humility opens the door to God’s healing and empowers the transformation that leads to lasting freedom.

Lord, we come to you ready to change. Remove the defects, the fears, and the habits that hold us back. Help us see ourselves with honesty and humility and guide our hearts toward transformation. Give us the courage to release control and trust in your perfect plan for our lives.

Step 7 calls us to approach recovery with humility, asking God to heal what we cannot fix alone. Take this moment to open your heart and let His grace do the work only He can do.

Halfway through the 12 Steps, we reach a moment of readiness. Step 6 is about opening our hearts to change and trusting God to remove any hindrance that hold us back. It is a turning point in the journey — a key step in real transformation and spiritual growth.

Being willing to let God work in us takes courage, humility, and faith. At Grace Matters, we walk alongside you, offering support, encouragement, and community as you prepare your heart for the freedom God provides.

Step 5 invites us to bring our hearts into the light. We share our inventory with God, with ourselves, and with a trusted companion. Confession is not about shame; it is about freedom. It clears the shadows that have held us captive and opens the way for God’s healing grace to flow.

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” — James 5:16

At Grace Matters, we walk with you in this brave step. You do not have to face your past alone. In honesty and prayer, God meets you, restores you, and carries you forward.
