I’ve been wanting to try this strawberry peanut butter chocolate bark for a while, and this time I decided to make it Halloween style! 🎃 Here’s a fun way to use your Halloween candy without the sugar overload. A treat swap that still fits your bariatric lifestyle 🍫🍓
Ingredients (8 servings):
¼ cup strawberries, sliced
¼ cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)
¼ cup dark chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Flaky salt (optional)
About ¼ bag of M&M’s or any Halloween candy you like
Instructions:
Slice the strawberries and arrange them flat on a parchment-lined container or tray
Spread the peanut butter evenly over the strawberries, covering them completely
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth
Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly. Top with flaky salt and your favorite Halloween candies
Freeze for 3–4 hours or until firm. Cut into pieces and enjoy your festive, bariatric-friendly treat! 🎃🍓🍫
Remember to adjust the portions depending on the stage you’re in! ❤️👩🏻⚕️
