What if the supplements you’ve been taking for years are the ones with the weakest science? And the category you’ve been ignoring is growing 9.3% faster than anything else — with the strongest clinical evidence behind it?

My Vitamin D is at 77.6 ng/mL. Without supplementing. So why does every “top 5 supplements” list tell me to take it?

Three things on the back of every supplement bottle tell you more than the entire front label ever will.
One of them most people don’t even know exists. Another one hides something brands aren’t required to disclose the amount of.
Thirty seconds is all it takes to know if the supplement is worth your money — or if you’re paying for candy with a supplement label.

Did you know that no government agency checks what’s inside your supplement bottle before it reaches you?
Not the ingredients. Not the safety. Not the quality. Nothing.
And that new bill everyone’s talking about? It won’t change this either.
Watch the video to find out why — and what you can do about it right now.

41% of people now ask AI which supplements to take. So do I. The difference is how you ask.
Basic rule — the more general the question, the more generic the answer. If you type “what supplements should I take” and AI knows nothing about you — you’ll get the same list everyone else gets.
What I do instead — load it with data and context. Your bloodwork, scans, diagnosis, medical reports. Then give it context about you — what you eat, how you live, how you feel. Don’t be shy — it won’t judge you.
Instead of “what should I take for cholesterol” — try “based on my data and what I eat daily and how much I move, would it make sense for me to take any kind of supplement to support my cholesterol panel?”
But here’s where AI fails completely — it can’t verify what you buy. It can’t check if a brand tests their products. It can’t tell the difference between a $30 formula with premium botanicals and a $7 bottle of filler with the same name on the label. AI recommends by ingredient name — not by product quality. That part is still on you.

Dietary supplement brands refuse to prove their quality. We messaged 10 supplement brands on Amazon and asked for one simple thing — their Certificate of Analysis.
Only one out of ten replied with a partial document — and even they withheld the heavy metals panel. The rest politely said no. Different brands, different prices, different excuses. Same result.
“It’s proprietary.” “Amazon should have it.” “We don’t share this with the public.” Four paragraphs about quality systems — zero documents attached.
At Sana, when a customer asks for a COA, we send it. The full document. Every test. Heavy metals, microbial, adulterants, potency. From Eurofins and DaaneLabs — recognized independent ISO certified labs.
Sharing a COA costs nothing. It takes thirty seconds. Ask yourself why a brand would choose not to.
Before you buy your next supplement — message the seller. Ask for a COA. Their response will tell you everything you need to know.

What do you take for post-training recovery? Protein? Creatine? BCAAs? Great for feeding muscles. But what about the inflammation that drives the actual repair?
That soreness you feel after training — that’s muscle tissue inflammation from microdamage. And here’s what most people get wrong: inflammation is not bad. It’s your body’s repair signal. The problem is when it becomes excessive or stays too long.
Top three botanicals for inflammation backed by clinical research:

Boswellia — a 2025 RCT showed it significantly reduced soreness and accelerated recovery after intense exercise
Cat’s claw — a 2024 review confirmed it modulates NF-kB, one of the master switches of inflammatory response
Curcumin — multiple trials showing it supports recovery from exercise-induced muscle damage

Our formulator Dr. Marco Sikaffy built MuscleRoot around six clinically researched botanicals. An inflammatory modulator — not a painkiller, not a muscle builder. I train six days a week and take it daily.
Next time you think about recovery — ask yourself: what’s supporting the inflammatory response that drives the actual repair in my muscles?

“It didn’t work.” The most common complaint in supplement reviews. And honestly — it applies to every brand, including ours.
So how do you actually know if your supplement is working? Three ways:
1. If you’re not measuring, you’re guessing. Get bloodwork before you start. Retest after 60–90 days. Compare numbers, not feelings.
2. The stop test. Taking something for 3+ months? Stop for two weeks. If nothing changes — it was never doing what you thought.
3. Track one specific thing. Not “I feel better.” Pick a measurable outcome — joint stiffness, recovery time, sleep hours. If after 60 days your metric hasn’t moved, move on.
The uncomfortable truth — some supplements won’t work for you. Not because the supplement is bad, but because your body doesn’t need them or the root cause is still there. The supplement can’t outwork a bad habit.
When buying supplements, don’t buy hope. Measure, verify, decide if it works for you. That simple.

“Clinically studied” — every supplement brand says this. But there’s a difference between putting it on a label and actually showing you the research.
Here’s what it usually means: somewhere, at some point, someone studied one of the ingredients. Maybe at a different dose. Maybe in a different form. Maybe on rats. That’s enough for the label.
What you should be asking — does the ingredient match what was actually studied? The dose, the form, the quality. Same name on the label doesn’t mean the same thing inside the capsule.
At Sana, every ingredient in every formula has independent, peer-reviewed research behind it. Cardio Care — over fifteen published studies. MuscleRoot — ten published studies. Every claim traceable. Check them yourself at sanaherbal.com.
If a brand can’t show you the research, they don’t have any. That simple.

Your supplement costs between $3 and $5 to produce. So why do you pay $30?bHere’s where the money actually goes: Amazon takes 30% of the sales price. Then ads cost another $5–10 per sale just for you to find the product. Deduct quality testing and business expenses — what’s left is the brand’s profit. Now ask yourself — if a supplement costs $12 on Amazon, and all those costs still apply, what’s actually inside that bottle? Recent studies on creatine gummies, turmeric, and oregano oil all showed the same thing — up to two-thirds of tested supplements failed. Cheap ingredients, fillers, no active ingredient at all, and zero quality testing. That’s the answer. At Sana, our ingredient cost alone is $7–11 per bottle — premium organic botanicals from verified sources. If the supplement is too cheap to be true, it’s always about low quality. That simple. Why do supplement brands never mention taking a break? Because more daily doses means more bottles means more money.
Sana’s rule — stop taking your supplements one week every month. We actually print this on our labels.
Your body adapts when you give it the same compound daily without a break. A week off lets it reset and maintain natural homeostasis. When you come back, your body responds the way it should.
Exceptions: Vitamin D, Iron, thyroid support, CoQ10. If a doctor prescribed it, follow their instructions. But for the rest, especially botanical supplements — cycle them.
Share this with someone who takes supplements daily and has never taken a break.
