Oak Cliff Yoga (soft) opens Monday May 15! 2107 S Edgefield Ave. Class schedule is M-F 6-6:50am, M-F 5:45-6:45pm and Saturdays 9-10:15am- all classes taught by Will be adding more teachers and class times shortly. So here’s the deal… We need money ASAP to help get the doors open (utilities, insurance, deposits, rent, etc.)! Anything you can contribute will help! I need to pause massage appointments for a short time. CT scan and X-ray confirmed I have a tiny (but painful) tear in a lumbar disc. :-(

If DISD is closed, Balanced Oak is closed.

Due to anticipated inclement weather, all Dallas ISD schools will be closed Thursday, Feb. 24. More information will be provided later on how campuses will make up this day. Buses will run at the regularly scheduled time today, however, if you would like to pick your child up early from school, you may do so.

Central Staff employees are expected to work remotely tomorrow and should contact their supervisor for additional information.

Please continue to check the district’s website, social media channels, or local media on possible closure information later this week. Bundle up, and we hope your family remains safe over the next few days.

Over the holiday break I unfortunately had direct exposure to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19. 😲 Even though I was asymptomatic, in an abundance of caution, I canceled all massage appointments for the week. I am grateful to those of you who have already re-scheduled. 🥰

I am happy to report that I did not develop any symptoms and have tested negative! I'll be back in the office on Tuesday, January 11.

And as a reminder, we will be continuing to require masks. And washing hands! Stay safe and healthy! 😷

I've been looking forward to my own massage appointment scheduled for Monday, but yesterday received a message from my massage therapist saying he needed to cancel my appointment.

He's had direct contact with someone who has COVID-19. 😞

While this is inconvenient for me, he has to shut down his office for 14 days. No income for 14 days. Re-scheduling all those appointments.

I am so sick and tired. I'm angry at those refusing the vaccination, and refusing to wear a mask. We will never get past this pandemic while so many are so selfish. 😡

Wear a mask. Get the vaccine. Wash your hands. 😷

That said, I have a few appointments available on Monday for those of you doing the right thing.
