As much as we love moving toward a physical goal, the first benefits most experience are confidence and healthy self esteem. The research is clear that exercise has direct positive impact on mental health. Here's three ways to practice good mental health - and know that exercise really is medicine. YOU ARE WORTH IT.
1. Move with Purpose - take a yoga class, go for a walk, meditate, or stretch
2. Make a plan or create a short term challenge - start small and make a do-able plan for self-care
3. Treat yourself - rewards for goals are okay! book a massage, take a nap, or just give yourself a healthy treat.
