Did you know why Juneteenth is also known as Freedom Day?

🙌🏿 Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of ht ending of slavery in the US. It's a day of celebration, but also for reflection.

Someone said that Juneteenth should be a commemoration not of the horrific events of the past, but of the strength in the American spirit to recognize wrong and set about making it right.

If you'd like to learn more about the history behind this holiday, we invite you to visit juneteenth.com
