Years ago I started this health & wellness page for my personal weight loss journey and never really kept up with it after a while. While I still struggle with my weight years later, I am embracing the journey I am on no matter what size I am.

This season of life just feels a bit different than any other before it. Is it because I just turned 40? When I decided I wanted to journal my personal journey to loving me on this page I kept trying to come up with a new name for it but when I opened the app this afternoon I realized the name still fits. That picture is really me.

The good ones, the bad ones, the sad ones, the grieving ones & the happy ones. Those are all versions of myself through the journey of life.

My promise to myself is that I will LEARN to love all versions of myself and forgive the versions that need forgiveness.

1 mile wog, ball crunches, leg weights and 30 second plank. Great 20 minute workout on my break this afternoon.

Yesterday was supposed to be the start of my plank challenge but I ended up at the hospital with my 95 year old grandfather who had a heart attack. Needless to say I was wiped out by the time I got home so I didn't get it started. I will however be on top of it today!

I may not be 100% emotionally today but I will still make good choices because I have a goal and an emotionally bad day is not an excuse to screw up.

I forgot how good it felt to hurt so bad after a good workout! Oh yeah and I'm down 1.2 pounds from yesterday!

What's my plan you ask? It's simple!

1. Cut out processed foods
2. Cut out sugar
3. Eat 4-6 small meals a day
4. No alcohol
5. Eat whole foods & grains
6. Eat more protein
7. Be prepared each week for success
8. 30 mins (minimum) of cardio 3-5x a week
9. 96 oz (minimum) of water daily
10. Be excited about the changes you are making for the better!!

As of now, I have been clean eating 95% of this week. Im not perfect but I am making changes that will last!
