The Mat's classes are welcoming, non-competitive, explorative, and created to teach and guide the beginner as well as challenge the most seasoned practitioner. Our offerings are created with you in mind; from our open flow to our explorative flow, you are certain to find exactly what you need. The Mat's teachers can accommodate any fitness level and are sure to offer you a flow that develops your flexibility, cultivates your strength, challenges your balance and captivates your mind.

Blocks & bolsters & blankets, oh my!

Join us for our next Strength + Balance workshop: Deepen Your Practice with Props, where we’ll explore how props can support every body and every level of practice. Instead of saving props for the “hard stuff,” we’ll use them to bring more clarity, strength, and ease into poses you already practice, as well as those that feel more challenging.

This workshop is welcoming, accessible, and thoughtfully layered, whether you’re newer to yoga or have been practicing for years. You’ll leave with practical tools you can take straight into your regular classes.

This 2-week series is an invitation to slow things down, break down the poses in Sun Salutation A, and better understand alignment in a way that works for your body. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to feel more confident in familiar poses, this series meets you where you are.
