We have a few spots left in our Bastrop and Buescher State Park camping workshops! You can register at https://tpwd.texas.gov/calendar/texas-outdoor-family-workshops to join us for geocaching, fishing, and much more. No experience needed—just a love for the great outdoors!

Alvarado Irish fest

The countdown is on for the FIRST-EVER Alvarado Irish Fest! 🍀🇮🇪 Join us on April 5th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pecan Orchard for a day of Irish fun you won't forget! 🎶 Jam out to traditional live music performances all day or check out some Irish dancing and enjoy Celtic dog herding demos. 🐶 Shop local vendors, grab a bite to eat, and soak up the springtime fun with face painting, caricatures, and outdoor games. 🍀🪁 And of course, don’t forget to swing by the full outdoor pub for a cold drink. 🍻 The Alvarado Irish Fest will have something for everyone, so bring your whole crew to 101 S. Parkway Drive and get ready to experience a little bit of Ireland in Alvarado! 🍀
