International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians Supporting Equal Coverage for Eating Disorder Treatment It is not required that IFEDD members work exclusively in the eating disorders field, i.e.

IFEDD members are those dietitians who work or have worked with individuals with eating disorders, conduct research on eating disorders, educate professionals and the public about eating disorders, and/or consult with eating disorder treatment facilities. they may have additional specialty practice areas. Dietitians who do not work with eating disorders, professionals who are not dietitians, students, and others who believe in the cause may join IFEDD as a Friend of IFEDD.

📣 Save the Date! 📆 | Weight Stigma Awareness Week 2025�September 22-26, 2025��

1) Virgie Tovar will be our ambassador and opening
keynote on the 23rd.
2) Sunday, September 21st Alliance x WSAW: Panel
discussion with Alliance group facilitators. Questions from attendees about all
things weight stigma.
3) Tues, Sept 23rd and Wed, Sept 24th: Free education
from 10am-6pm both days. This year will focus on healthcare and topics will
range from pediatrics to menopause, glp1s, healthcare stories from those with
the lived experience and much more.
4) Day, Time TBD: Fireside Chat: eating disorders
clinicians discussing being a higher weight provider, the experiences they've
had and how they manage client relationships especially when a client may have
some internalized weight biases.
5) Thursday, Sept 25: Virgie Tovar will be in
Seattle at the first "fat mall" and discussing clothing, fashion, etc
for larger bodied folks.
