At Fernandina Beach High School in Florida, Hope Squad is creating space for students to breathe—literally. 💙

Their student-designed hammock garden offers a calm, welcoming place to relax and reset before school, during lunch, or with teacher permission throughout the day. With this special area, Hope Squad helps spread the message that taking a moment to slow down isn’t a luxury—it’s essential.

This simple but powerful idea has already made a meaningful impact on campus… and even caught the attention of the local paper! 📰

Connection. Calm. Care. That’s what Hope Squad is all about.

Advisor Spotlight 🎉

In honor of Hope Week, Advisor Sherri Porter and Weber High School’s Hope Squad in Utah helped bring a powerful vision to life by hosting a Wellness Fair that welcomed nearly 800 community members for a night of connection, resources, and fun.

From coordinating 30+ community partners and a keynote speaker to creating space for meaningful conversations around mental health, the event made a lasting impact.

We’re grateful for Advisors who go above and beyond share hope with their schools and the greater community. ❤️

Last month, Members of Howell High School’s Hope Squad took their impact beyond their school—traveling to the Michigan Capitol in Lansing for Advocacy Day with the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. 🏛

They met with senators, learned how change happens, and used their voices to support mental health legislation.

We're proud to see Members using their voices to make a difference! 👏

This month, we focus on mindfulness.

Mindfulness builds calm, empathy, and connection—skills our students and communities need.

Small habits can create big change. Today, give mindfulness a try by simply taking time to pause, breathe, and be present.

We're excited to reveal the theme for the 2026–2027 school year: Hope in Action 🌟

Hope in Action challenges us to turn optimism into effort—taking small, meaningful steps to brighten someone’s day, lift others up, and build a future where possibility becomes reality.

Let’s empower our schools and communities to step forward, speak up, and put Hope in Action in every hallway, every classroom, and every conversation.
