Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers recently visited the Hope Squads at Superior Middle & High Schools, highlighting the importance of supporting students’ mental health alongside their academic success.

"Of course, we want young people to learn how to read and write and how to be good citizens from K through graduation," Evers said. "But it's really important that their hearts and minds are safe and in a good place. [This type of programming] is important if we want to make sure they succeed in school."

We’re grateful to see leaders recognizing that mental health supports are not “extras” in education—they are essential. ❤️

Being part of something bigger creates connection.

The Hope Squad at Les Boise Junior High in Idaho brought that idea to life in a big (and very sticky) way—by attempting to break the world record for the largest marshmallow fight. 😁

Because sometimes, building community doesn’t start with a serious conversation. It starts with laughter, shared moments, and showing students they belong.
