WOMAN FATALLY SHOT BY SECURITY OUTSIDE STRIP CLUB IN DALLAS, TEXAS

On Saturday, June 25, 2022, at approximately 5:08 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the XTC located at 8550 N. Stemmons Freeway.

Officers found the victim Shalanda Anderson, a 32-year-old female, with a gunshot wound.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported her to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

The investigation has determined a 26-year-old female security officer, was responsible for shooting the victim.

A second security officer, a 30-year-old male, also shot at the complainant’s vehicle.

A grand jury referral will be submitted to the Dallas County District Attorney’s office.

The Dallas County District’s Attorney Public Integrity unit responded and will conduct an independent investigation.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact SIU Detective Cayce Shelton, #7660, at 214-671-4707 or by email c.shelton@dallascityhall.com. Please reference case #114197-2022.
