“Don’t expect to see a change if you don’t make one.”

It’s interesting how helpless we allow ourselves to feel. We sit back and wait for others to make the first move. We wait for others to say something to us first. We wait for something to inspire us, motivate us, push us forward. We are always waiting. That is such an utterly helpless feeling.

Everything we need to have a fulfilling and intentional life is within us. We have to be willing to be more vulnerable and outspoken. We have to be willing to shoot ourselves forward and proactively seek out knowledge, inspiration, and love.

We create so many excuses that we don’t even realize are excuses.

Even if you feel someone should speak up first, be the first one to do it. If you feel someone hurt you or you feel a certain way, say something. If you want to look a certain way, be diligent about pursuing those goals, even if you make so many “mistakes” along the way and it takes a bit longer.

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE.

Don’t sit back and allow yourself to steep in anger, sadness, love, hopelessness, etc.
We hold the reigns a whole lot more than we realize and I just wanted to remind each of you how much potential and strength is within you 💛

Soooo I want to address something in this post regarding my body. I would say I spend 85 percent of my days looking in the mirror and disliking what I see. I put on certain yoga pants, hate the way they look on me, and then change into ones that I feel disguise the imperfections my body hold (aka black pants)


I could say I have never felt quite this insecure with my body before but I know that’s a lie…I have only had one period in my life where I loved the way I looked and felt super confident but it took A LOT of work to get there. It took patience and consistency and hard work

I don’t mind putting in the hard work, and I am currently doing that, but I also want to be real with myself and with all of you…life happens. I lost the progress I had before because life happened. I moved, I had an ankle injury, I got cheated on, I didn’t feel like working out was as important as doing nothing

For this post, I don’t want any compliments or affirmations of any kind. That isn’t what I am looking for. I just wanted to share my story and would LOVE to hear yours


What has your personal struggle been? Also, let’s comment 1 thing we love about ourselves and maybe even tag a friend and compliment them on something you admire about them. It’s crazy how surprising it is to hear what people admire about us…it may be the very things we ourselves strongly dislike!

Hiiii!!! How are each of you doing? 🤗

I meant to post this video yesterday but there a few, minor complications that got in the way but it’s here now!

What is something you can add to your routine or diet this week that will help you build a healthier lifestyle or what is something you can remove?

I, for one, have reduced my sugar to less than 15 grams a day and am going to cycling classes 4-6 days of the week. It definitely easy but I feel much better and very proud of myself 💪🏻 I would love to read what you are adding and/or removing to get closer to your goals! Please share below 💛

Hello!!! I hope all of you had an amazing weekend and are ready to smash your goals for the week ☺️

This video is the first of many that I will be recording in order to give y’all tidbits of tips and advice regarding nutrition, fitness, and overall health in order to incorporate more healthy habits into your daily routine 🖤

➖The essence of today’s video is to just say that rather than allowing yourself to become overwhelmed by the end goal and letting that dictate every decision throughout the day, focus on taking it day by day. Happy Saturday, everyone! How are each of you doing? 🤗

So, I wanted to share some exciting news with you all.. tomorrow I am starting 30 days of cycling, as well as, a sugar fast. I did a sugar fast last year and it produced such incredible results but that’s a topic for another day 😊

For quite some time now, I have had a very difficult time getting myself to consistently lift weights so I decided to challenge myself with something else in order to reach my fitness goals

I want to challenge each of you to think up of something fitness-related that you can start sometime this upcoming week and stick to it for the next 30 days. It doesn’t have to be done every single day but it should be something you do about 3-4 days a week

For an extra challenge, share whatever you plan on doing down below in the comments section and I will help hold you accountable to those goals 😀

Also, if you need any advice or suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out

Let’s make 2019 the year where we get better and stronger with each passing day and not waste anymore of our lives wishing we had something we could have if we just worked at it ❤
