Today marks Baseball's official 2025 Opening Day in the U.S.! Please enjoy this snapshot of this day taken sometime in the late 1940s or early '50s at what is now Touchmark at All Saints in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Before Touchmark saved this historic landmark from demolition and transformed it into the vibrant retirement community we know and love, it was the All Saints School for Girls, originally constructed in the 1880s. It's fun to look back at our history and get excited for a new season of America's favorite pastime.

Memory Care Coordinator Tessa English and Community Liaison Joanne were leading "Creative Hour" at Touchmark at Emerald Lake. Special guest David and his family were visiting and touring. Music and singing filled the room when David unexpectedly rose, dancing and singing along. His daughter, witnessing this rare display of joy, was moved to tears, stating she'd never seen such a sight, despite working in another senior community. Thank you, Tessa and team, for offering hope and assurance and demonstrating our values in action.
