Please join me in congratulating Madalyn Engelking on one year at CEPT! We are so happy to have Maddie's smiling face around the clinic and she is a joy to be around. Maddie is constantly expanding her knowledge and skillset to help her clients grow and thrive and is extremely passionate about supporting clients and families. She goes the extra mile to collaborate with care teams for her clients and to improve our Counseling model and processes. Maddie is continuously sharing her knowledge with others, not only to support clients on her caseload, but the clinic and team as a whole.

his week, we proudly celebrate Natalie’s 7-year anniversary on our Allen speech team!

Natalie started at CEPT as a clinical fellow, right about the time that we opened our current Allen building – and she has been such as important part of our team ever since. Natalie brings joy and a sense of calm to every therapy session. She continually expands her skillset, proving that growth is about intention, curiosity, and heart. Natalie has expertise in AAC, Gestalt Language Processing, and Feeding therapy, looking at each case thoughtfully through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. Natalie’s patience and unwavering respect for her clients have set the gold standard for thoughtful, client-centered therapy.

As a mentor and leader, Natalie lifts those around her with grace, kindness, and wisdom. Whether she’s guiding a student, clinical fellow, or teammate - or quietly making someone’s day better - Natalie is a difference maker in every sense. Her kind-hearted presence reminds us all what it means to lead with empathy and to serve with purpose.

This week, we are celebrating one year of Renee being on our CEPT team!

From the very beginning, Renee has been a true asset to our speech team. Her passion for helping clients is evident not only in her clinical work, but also in her eagerness to embrace new learning opportunities and bring fresh, positive energy to our team. Over the past year, it has been amazing to watch her grow into a more confident and independent clinician, expanding her skill sets into new areas and taking on more challenging client cases. In addition to continuously growing her clinical skills, Renee has brought myofunctional therapy to our clinic, opening a new avenue for speech therapy treatment for our clients.

Renee consistently demonstrates a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep commitment to expanding her clinical expertise. Her dedication to her professional growth doesn’t just enhance her own practice—it elevates the quality of care we provide and strengthens our entire team.

Please join me in celebrating Kaylin Boas’s promotion to Child-Led Therapy and GLP Specialist! Kaylin has been with the company for a little over a year, and during this time, she has served as an internal expert and educational resource on GLP and child-led therapy approaches, supporting clinicians across disciplines. Kaylin is creative and extremely dedicated and passionate about empowering clinicians and caregivers, making her a perfect fit for this role. As part of her new responsibilities, Kaylin will provide accessible guidance, develop clinician-focused strategies, create educational materials for parents, host workshops, and support program expansion efforts to strengthen our impact. Kaylin also plans to focus on education, guidance, and collaborative knowledge-sharing through regular newsletters, resource development, and ongoing support for both our team members and the families we serve.

We are thrilled to have Kaylin take on this position and bring her expertise and passion to the team in an even greater capacity.

We are delighted to announce Austin Ward’s promotion to Multidisciplinary Collaboration Specialist! Austin has been a part of our speech team for almost 3 years and has gone above and beyond to build communication across teams and share her knowledge with others. She has a passion for the collaborative model we have here at CEPT, and her continuous drive has helped to enhance and support our model as it has evolved. In this new position, Austin will serve as a vital resource and mentor, supporting team members across disciplines in co-treatment strategies, parent collaboration, and professional development. She will provide guidance on interdisciplinary teamwork, streamlining effective communication with families and external providers, and practical solutions for navigating complex cases. Her leadership in fostering strong therapeutic relationships, both within our clinic and beyond our clinic walls, will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our services.

We are excited to have Austin step into this role and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make.

Today we celebrate Shelia’s 2-year anniversary with Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy!

Over the past two years, Shelia has shown tremendous growth in her ABA skills and continues to impress us all with her dedication and positive attitude. She is always happy to lend a hand, especially when clients are experiencing challenging behaviors, and she does so without hesitation or complaint. Her supportive and team-centered spirit makes a meaningful difference every single day.

Shelia is also actively working toward becoming a BCBA, and her commitment to learning and growth is evident in everything she does. When something doesn’t make sense, she doesn’t stop there - she digs deeper, asks questions, and seeks to understand others’ perspectives. That kind of drive and curiosity is exactly what makes her such an asset to our team and such a bright future leader in our field.
