As a little girl growing up in the projects, I was always amazed when a dandelion or plantain grew out of the concrete. And I loved picking up making wishes and bringing the flowers home to my it wouldn’t be until much later in my I need the connection learn and other medicinal properties because as my grandfather always say everything embedded in the earth is medicine in some way shape or form. Decades later 2019 I’m farm doing my herbal apprenticeship and fell@in love with plant identification. So much so, I incorporated it into all of my travels local and abroad (see videos). During Covid this became extremely beneficial as I would drive around the Atlanta Metro area and pull over to all of the homeless camps. I saw I would drop off bottled water and begin to educate them on all of the edible plants surrounding them for sustainable living…. And now I’m back home in the DFW happy to share all of what I learned with you. Gratitude to & for sponsoring this amazing multi-sensory learning experience on Friday June 13 & 27th 10am-12pm FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
