I lost my period for 2 years.

I thought it was cool—no cramps, no hassle.

Until I learned it meant my body was in survival mode
 and I might not be able to have kids.

I was in a sympathetic state most of my life.

I thought the answer was more discipline.

But stress hijacked my nervous system—spiking cortisol, disrupting hormones, and inflaming my body.

Stillness felt unsafe.
Chaos felt normal.
And I couldn’t hear God in the noise.

But when I stopped overtraining, undereating, and chasing achievement—I finally regulated.

→ My body softened
→ My inflammation dropped
→ My spirit quieted
→ And I heard Him again
