Your past doesn't define you; it's your present actions and future steps that truly matter.

Fitness can feel complex, especially for women, given various responsibilities. It's time to shed the guilt and prioritize self-care.

I'm a 48-year-old woman who honestly dislikes cooking. Yes, I admitted it! I live abroad, managing work and my 18 and 16-year-old daughters. Despite being a certified yoga and dance teacher and intermittently weight training since age 18, I sought a coach to guide me. Binaya, my coach and friend, arrived when I needed focus and planning. She helped me rediscover myself
In this 9 month journey I have lost 14 kg of fat.

Initial weight 72kg, current weight - 58 kg

Initial body measurements -
waist 32 , hips, 44 chest 38 , thighs 23

Current measurements -
Waist -26, hips-37, chest-32, thighs-20

Yoga Nidra class preparation meditation. Last week I taught a yoga nidra class for 46 enthusiastic yogis. So enthusiastic that we didn’t get any pictures at the event. This one photo I took before teaching. Preparing for a yoga class is so important crucial.

Divine Dancing Yogi Story

Yoga has been a part of Sangeeta’s life for over 20 years starting off in India in a Yoga Teacher training in her early 20’s. Immediately after, her father became her first student recovering from a heart attack he had at the age of 49!

20 years, 2 countries, 2 careers, 2 children and 1 husband later Yoga has been the constant force in her life that has kept her balanced. Her love for dancing ( Indian classical and Bollywood ) & working as a Handwriting Specialist keeps her happy!

In classes, she loves to teach the harmonizing benefits of yoga through this practice of stretching and strengthening, breath work, relaxation, and a dose of inspiration to help deepen the practice making asana safe and approachable and exciting for the beginner to the advanced practitioner. In addition to asana, Sangeeta incorporates the Energy Body, Pranayama, Meditation,and Yoga Philosophy into her classes for a holistic yoga experience.

She combines her years of corporate experience, as well as training from both India and the US to bring a unique perspective of traditional yoga to our modern lives. She seeks to help others balance and discover their most authentic life by nurturing body, mind,and soul through yoga.
