Reconnected Kidz uses Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback teaches the brain to change itself and helps attention, mood, behavior, cognition, and more. In simple terms, neurofeedback is positive reinforcement for the brain. It teaches the brain how to be better balanced by feedback through tiny sensors that temporarily stick to the scalp with a small amount of paste. The ne

When parents think of alternative approaches to managing ADHD - beyond medication - they think of the basics…adding a fish oil, probiotic…maybe removing sugar from the diet etc.

Current researching is showing a STRONG correlation in FOOD SENSITIVITIES / INTOLERANCES and ADHD.

For over 20 years we’ve been “Food Testing” kids in our clinics…we phenomenal success. It’s so important to remove foods that are harming the IMMUNE SYSTEM. Foods that are harming the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. Foods that are increasing INFLAMMATION!

We know sensitivities & intolerances SPIKE INFLAMMATION! This inflames not only the brain…but causes a total body…low grade inflammation that can lead to a whole host of other challenges…

Could it be gluten?
Could it be eggs?

Perhaps…but what about garlic? What about almonds?

I tested a 10-year-old patient recently and found he reacted severely to oranges, lemons, pineapple and grapefruit…so citrus fruits!

They say “One Man’s Food Is Another Man’s Poison.”

We are each UNIQUE individuals…and we all react to foods differently.

I encourage parents to dig deeper. Yes, adding fish oils, vitamin D, probiotics (from a high quality source) is good and necessary…but food testing, I would argue, is the MOST important test you can do…to conquer ADHD / behavioral issues once and for all…

Feel free to COMMENT BELOW for more information on getting food tested. The nice thing about this test is you can test through our virtual system. No doctor appointments…no waiting around a stuffy doctor’s office…no lengthy 10-page intake form.

Again, feel free comment below and we’ll gladly provide you with some more details about how your kids or even you can get tested…

Please SHARE this post if you know somebody struggling with their kids (ADHD, behavioral challenges, digestive issues, skin problems etc.)

Special for the Month of April!

Neurofeedback Therapy is a brain-based; not drug based approach.

Science has demonstrated that the brain can be changed—something once thought impossible. This means your child’s problems aren’t permanent and the situation isn’t hopeless.

At Reconnected Kidz™ we have found that many childhood disorders are actually manifestations of a simple underlying condition.

This condition is known as Functional Dysregulation—an imbalance in the connections and function between and within the various lobes of your child’s brain. This condition is responsible for a host of behavioral, academic, and social difficulties such as ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Dyslexia, and other neurological behavioral disorders. For further information see www.

For the month of April we are offering a QEEG Brain map evaluation for $99 (reg $300) if you or your child is a candidate for Neurofeedback Therapy. All we ask is that you share this with your Facebook friends and like our page. Then call us at 972-233-2346 to schedule your Brain Map.

Wanted to share one mothers testimonial of her son getting Neurofeedback Therapy (NFT) at our clinic.

"I have been so incredibly pleased with the progress we have seen in our son over the past month and 1/2 of using NEUROFEEDBACK THERAPY.
Our son has Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD. We spent a year doing therapy for him at a wonderful treatment center that focused on sensory integration therapy as well as other physical and occupational therapies. We were seeing great strides but he was still having issues with impulse control, being quick to get agitated, sensory ticks such as hitting his ears repeatedly when noise was bothering him and had even started to display some verbal ticks. All though this facility was fantastic the work they did never seemed to really touch these issues and certainly was not helping with his struggles that come with having ADHD, such as being able to focus on a specific task for any length of time.
We were hopeful when we heard about NFT and decided to proceed with this. Within 3 weeks of therapy we were already noticing great progress. He was softer in his tone with us, as well as his siblings, he was not as easily agitated and acted less on impulsivity.
One of our first break throughs was his willingness to try new foods. He has always been super picky based on taste, texture, smell, and temperature. We were quite surprised when he chose on his own to eat a raw carrot, broccoli, and avocado for the first time since his baby food days. Our next huge stride came when he allowed me to give him a hair cut at home! The hair cut is a terrifying experience for kids at times but for kids with SPD it's excruciating! The hair falling on him, the noise of the clippers, the vibration of the clippers, the whole experience was a nightmare for him. We had to take him to a lady that specialized in kids cuts who also had experience dealing with kids on the spectrum. We had to do this for 3 years. The costs were adding up quickly. A month into NFT he allowed me to try and give him a haircut in our home and didn't even flinch. When we ran into a part where he clippers scared him he simply took a break for 5 min and then told me he was ready to finish! I was amazed!!
Our next experience came with our homeschooling routine. It has always been difficult to get him to focus for any amount of time and getting through a lesson was something I had to bribe and convince him to do more often than not. A few weeks ago we were just going about our daily routine when he approached me and told me he was ready to do school for the day. He sat with complete focus and attention, wrote out his spelling words for the week and practiced them for 30 full minutes. This brings a whole new experience and allows us to do so many more things with school time! The final and most touching experience I would share also happened a few weeks ago. He had gone up stairs and found that his younger brother had "ruined" one of his Lego creations. I could hear him get upset and then take deep breaths. He came downstairs and told me he needed to talk to his brother. I sat back and watched as he softly put his hand on his shoulder and explained how his feelings were hurt when he did that to his toys and that it took a really long time for him to build. He then asked him not to do that again. After he was finished his brother apologized all on his own and he told him it was ok and that he forgave him. The fact that he did not act out impulsively, the fact that he was so kind and gentle with his words, the fact that he was actually able to verbalize what was bothering him, all of these are experiences that are firsts for our sweet boy and I am absolutely thrilled! This brings so much positive change to our son's life and even to our family. We are so grateful for what NFT has brought to our lives!"

Study Shows Methylphenidate Linked to Chromosomal Changes

Study Shows Methylphenidate (Ritalin) Linked to Chromosomal Changes.

In a small but startling preliminary new study, Texas researchers have found that after just three months, every one (100%) of a dozen children treated for attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with the drug methylphenidate (Ritalin) experienced a threefold increase in levels of chromosome abnormalities—occurrences associated with increased risks of cancer and other adverse health effects.

“Neurofeedback should play a major therapeutic role in many difficult areas. In my opinion, if any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy (as Neurofeedback) it would be universally accepted and widely used.”

Interesting thought....

Neurofeedback is guided exercise for the brain. It is actually a learning modality designed to retrain dysregulated brainwave patterns. The goal of all neurofeedback is to transform an unhealthy, dysregulated brainwave pattern into a normal, healthy, organized pattern. By doing this, the brain becomes more stable and is able to operate optimally and efficiently.

BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy is completely noninvasive and is considered by the Food and Drug Administration to be safe. In fact, the FDA recognizes that Neurofeedback has NEVER produced a serious side effect since it was first discovered over 40 years ago.

Published scientific research has demonstrated neurofeedback’s efficacy in managing many neurological conditions such as ADD ADHD, Migraine and Tension Headache, Insomnia, Chronic Pain, Post Stroke Syndrome, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, PTSD as well as many others.

If you live in the Carrollton, Addison, Plano and Richardson areas of Texas and would like to learn more about how Neurofeedback therapy can help you with:
