☀️Slow Intentional Morning Nutrients —
Finding a rythym that works for your schedule, needs and where you are in your journey! A few years back our food was primarily plant based but as with life your needs for nourishment are ever changing.
Typical mornings for us, with our 2 year old son Indie are calm, exciting and organized chaos all at the same time.
💦🍒First we like to drink a full glass of spring water, a shot of Quinton hypertonic minerals if have on hand.
Before taking Indie outside to get some morning light, we will usually have some fresh fruit while we warm up water to make a matcha.
After we come back in indie is ready for some white rice, typically cooked in bone broth with some ghee and sea salt added at the end.
Lately he has been loving seared beef heart in his rice💪🏽
While indie eats his rice, we love having about 3-4 ounces of thinley sliced raw beef heart with high quality olive oil, flakey salt and chopped parsley. We will also eat about half an ounce of raw beef liver as well. (Sourced directly from 100% grass fed local farm that humanely processes on their own property)
🥛Could be followed by a cup of raw milk kefir that we always have fermenting and maybe a couple raw egg yolks and a spoonful of raw honey-we love !
Then of course, another matcha before we run out of the house☀️🍵
