North Texas Giving Day is TODAY !!!

Starting today on Thursday, September 18, from 6 AM to midnight, Soul’s Harbor Homeless Shelter will be participating in North Texas Giving Day. Thanks to help from generous givers and sponsors, Communities Foundation of Texas covers all transaction and technology fees. This means that 100% of every online gift goes directly to the organizations you choose.

An anonymous donor will match gifts up to $15,000, thus making your dollar go even further. Just remember to get up and give - whether out of bed, from your desk, or off your couch, just give! Please go to: to:

Who likes Scheel's Sporting Goods in the Colony? Haven't been there? It's awesome. For the next 2 weeks spend $20 in one of our thrift stores and your name will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card to Scheel's Sporting Goods. $$$Free Stuff$$$ - Got your attention yet? From today until the end of the year Souls Harbor is giving select furniture away for free. This is a way for us to help families and individuals in need. We feel it's the least we can do since our donors, volunteers, and customers have been so good to us all year long. If you know someone who needs couches, dressers, desks, chairs, tables or other items forward this to them. If you need additional information please call @ 972.286.1940. With the holidays fast approaching there are so many things Souls Harbor is thankful for:

1. We are thankful for all of our gracious donors and people who donate furniture, household, and thrift store items. Thank you so much!
2. We are thankful that we have a place to help men get clean and sober.
3. We are thankful that we serve a God of second chances.

People always ask - how can we help Souls Harbor? Here's how:

1. Give us a boat load of money - we are trying to reach our Capital Campaign goals to renovate and help more men in DFW. Our thrift store operations cover operational cost but our buildings are in desperate need of a makeover (direct message with info on that).
2. Call (972) 286-1940 and donate thrift store sellable clothing, household items, furniture, and other things (we even accept cars and the best part is it's all tax deductible)
3. Share our post with as many people as you can!

P.S. If anyone happens to know Jerry Jones - let him know we would welcome The Cowboys as a supporter of our cause!
