The Learning Paradigm

The Learning Paradigm Helping to redefine society's views on children with special needs by educating, advocating, and promoting inclusion with our programs. Get involved!

The Learning Paradigm was founded on the principles of ensuring appropriate and accurate child development programs in our community. As advocates for those with special needs, we greatly understand the impact that disabilities can have on the lives of an individual and their family. With our mentor program, we hope to refine society's perspective so that there is an understanding that children wi

th disabilities are not different, but may have a different way of learning, coping, and dealing with issues. They need the support of empathetic individuals who want them to be successful and gain functional living skills just as their peers. We also understand the benefit of seeking job training for individuals with disabilities to assist in their development of learning independent life skills. These goals cannot be achieved without educators, volunteers, supporters, and partners that understand how imperative having a positive outlook on life can be for children with special needs. For this reason, our advocates will be the voice to bring awareness and understanding to address these concerns with hope that we can make a difference in the lives of the children and families that we are able to provide the needed resources, aid, and support to.

We are excited to have this event again as we will have food trucks, bounce house, DJ, and other amazing ways to enjoy the morning as we provide support for our children with Autism and their families at the adapted park in DeSoto!
In addition, we will have a 3K walk (approximately 1.36 miles) to bring awareness to the 1 in 36 individuals who are diagnosed with Autism a year. All attendees will receive a FREE t-shirt with registration. This event is open to the public and will serve as a way to provide support to ALL individuals with different abilities.

North Texas Giving Day is 10 days away, but early giving can be TODAY!

When the community invests in the children we serve, you are helping to break stigmas about children with different abilities, helping to give these children an opportunity to gain skills to become independent individuals in society. Most importantly, YOU are helping our under-resourced communities to have program and initiatives such as our E.X.S.E.L. Summer Camp that help decrease regression in their academic performance. With this being our 7th year in operation, we are asking that you donate in increments of $7, $70, $700, and etc as we help our children with different abilities to PLAY. GROW. THRIVE.

Donate today! https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/organization/Learning-Paradigm

Great times were had today! Our focus is to make sure our kiddos are exposed to various events and activities that take place right in their neighborhoods. For some of them, it was their first Texas Rangers game and they had a blast!!
