Cheers to August Fun!

We kicked off August with a lively National Beer Day celebration and amazing live entertainment from Sir Charles! Residents enjoyed cold drinks, great music, and plenty of smiles.

Saturday was double the fun as we celebrated National Ice Cream Sandwich Day and National Coloring Book Day! Marlen passed out ice cream sandwiches to both Independent and Assisted Living residents during lunch, and our residents had a wonderful time relaxing, coloring, and honoring the joy of creativity.

It’s been a sweet and colorful start to August here at The Reserve! 💛

🎉 Celebrating 90 Wonderful Years! 🎉

This month, we had the joy of celebrating a very special milestone — our dear resident’s 90th birthday! Carole was surrounded by loving family and friends; the day was filled with laughter, memories, and so much joy.

Chef Sam prepared a delicious lunch just for the occasion, complete with mouthwatering desserts that everyone raved about! 🍽️🍰

We are so honored to celebrate this incredible milestone and the beautiful life and legacy it represents. Happy 90th Birthday! 💐🎂🎈 Here's to many more moments of joy and celebration! ❤️

🦈 We’re Going to Need a Bigger Boat... 🦈

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Jaws, we threw a thrilling Jaws Movie Party here at The Reserve! 🎬 Residents gathered to watch the classic film, complete with popcorn, laughter, and a few playful scares. 🍿👀

After the movie, the fun continued with a themed party featuring "shark food" snacks, ocean-inspired drinks, and even prizes for our Jaws fans! It was a "fintastic" time celebrating one of the most iconic summer blockbusters of all time. 🦈🎉

Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun—we had a "reel" good time!

🌺Aloha from The Reserve! 🌺

On Tuesday, we brought the spirit of the islands to our community with a festive Hawaiian Day celebration! Residents and staff dressed in colorful Hawaiian attire, sipped on refreshing tropical drinks, and enjoyed a beautiful island-inspired spread that made us feel like we were on vacation. 🌴🍍🍹

We were treated to live entertainment by Skip Parker and even had a special visit from a friendly shark! 🦈

A heartfelt mahalo to Chef Sam and our amazing dining staff for the delicious food, and to our Life Enrichment team for putting together such a fun and memorable event. You brought the island magic to life!
