Direct Support Staff / Overnight, 10 PM - 8 AM, Monday - Friday

The Direct Support Staff, Overnight is responsible for providing supervision, safety monitoring, and supportive care to PATH’s Residents during the overnight hours. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment while promoting residents’ well-being, dignity, and independence in accordance with PATH’s Program Policies.

This position is scheduled for overnight shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (PATH provides a designated private area for rest during the overnight shift.)

The primary expectation of this role is to remain available and responsive to residents throughout the overnight hours. Duties may include administering medications, supporting residents during crises, or remaining in common areas to provide supervision or companionship as needed.

While the opportunity to rest during the shift is provided as a benefit, individuals in this position must understand that rest periods may be interrupted or unavailable based on resident needs and care requirements.

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to residents. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, assisting with patient assessments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Pay: $57,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities
**Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and PATH policies
**Monitor residents’ health status and promptly report changes to the physician
**Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
**Support residents in managing chronic conditions and promoting healthy lifestyles
**Provide education to residents and staff regarding health and wellness topics
**Collaborate with clinical, therapeutic, and administrative staff to ensure quality care
**Maintain compliance with Vermont State and Facility Regulations

Requirements
**Current LPN license in the State of Vermont
**Experience in a therapeutic, behavioral health, or residential care setting preferredStrong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
**Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations
**CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

This year the holidays look and feel quite different. We’re all feeling the affect of Covid-19. We’re all wanting this to be over. We all want to go back to normal life. We’re all waiting for the days to come when we can go out to dinner, have gatherings, go home to our families (staff included). We’re trying our hardest this holiday season to make the best of it, for everyone.

Residents and staff deforated our tree, for some it was the first they’ve ever decorated! We added a few funny touches - can you find them?? We made latkas together for Hanukkah. Tomorrow we’ll sit down ,as the Path family we are, for a home cooked meal together. Open gifts, and enjoy the day with each other.

Path would like to wish you and your family a happy, healthy and safe holiday season!
