Every day, our Caregivers by Linda team walks into homes across Boyle County and the surrounding Bluegrass region with one shared purpose: to provide quality, person-centered care that honors dignity, independence, and family.

Behind every visit is a circle of people working together — caregivers, families, nurses, friends, and neighbors — all coordinating to make sure someone’s mom, dad, grandparent, or spouse feels safe and supported. 🌷 Bluegrass sunshine is peeking through, spring is right around the corner… and here at Caregivers by Linda, LLC our hearts are full of gratitude for this community we’ve proudly served since 1999. 💛

In Boyle County and across the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, caregiving isn’t just a job to us — it’s a team effort built on kindness, trust, and showing up for one another every single day. From our amazing caregivers in the homes of our seniors, to the families who welcome us in, to the office team coordinating behind the scenes… it truly takes a village, and we are thankful for ours.

As the seasons begin to change, we’re reminded that every person we serve has their own story, their own routine, and their own goals. That’s why person-centered support will always be at the heart of what we do — meeting seniors where they are, honoring their independence, and walking beside them with dignity and compassion.

Spring brings new beginnings, brighter days, and more reasons to smile — and we’re honored to continue caring for generations of families right here at home in the Bluegrass.

⚠️ Safety Reminder: We’re seeing a significant increase in falls related to icy conditions, with a noticeable rise in hip injuries—especially among older adults. Please take extra precautions during freezing weather. Falls in the geriatric population are serious and carry a 20–30% mortality rate. A few extra steps now can prevent life-changing injuries later. Stay safe and check on your elderly loved ones.

The Salvation Army will be providing a hot meal again today at our address from 4pm to 6pm. There will be a few community drop off locations given to those with limited driving. If you have any questions, reach out to Lieutenant Irvin at 270-903-4729.

Again, we see that there is a need for hot food since schools have been closed for multiple days and community members are having a hard time readjusting to icy paths and closures.

Thank you for those who have donated so that we can continue to “do the most good.”

- Ephraim McDowell Commonwealth Cancer Center

Scheduled Adjustments:
- EMRMC Outpatient Pharmacy will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Ephraim McDowell MedSource (Danville) will operate with limited staff and be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
