Employee of the Month Spotlight – May 2026

Michele has been a valued part of our team since December 4, 2025, serving as a Shift Supervisor Med Tech. She is truly a calming light within our community and brings comfort, compassion, and steady leadership to both residents and fellow team members each day.

Her gentle presence, dedication, and willingness to support others do not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful to have Michele as part of the Seagrass family!

The shrimp Cobb salad at Seagrass Village of Daphne has quickly become a resident favorite and it’s easy to see why.

Loaded with fresh greens, juicy shrimp, crisp toppings, and packed with flavor. It is the perfect combination of light, fresh, and satisfying.

Our culinary team always knows how to turn a classic into something special and this delicious salad is one our residents look forward too! 💪🏽 💥

Today brought a whole lot of sticky fun with our Marshmallow Madness game.

There were marshmallows flying, plenty of laughter filling the room, and lots of smiles. It may have gotten a little messy, but that just made it even more memorable.

Nothing beats a little friendly chaos and a lot of laughs to start the week!

This morning at Seagrass, we were truly blessed to have Heavenly Sound come in and perform for us all.

These two gentlemen shared the beautiful stories behind several beloved hymns before playing them, making the experience even more meaningful. The acoustics in our Grand Heron Bistro were absolutely incredible for this type of event, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the performance and have already been asking when Heavenly Sound will return. It was such a wonderful and inspiring way to start a Saturday morning.

In celebration of graduation season, we asked members of our staff to share the year they graduated. We then looked up the number one song on the Billboard charts for each of those years. It turned into a fun project filled with nostalgia and great memories.

Today our culinary team whipped up something truly fabulous for lunch. 💪🏻

We served Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches; sweet creamy Hershey’s peach ice cream smashed between two homemade sugar cookies.

It was the perfect summertime treat, cool, nostalgic, and absolutely delicious.🍦

Every morning at 9:45, our team comes together for our daily stand-up meeting.

It is a time for all departments to connect, discuss everything happening at Seagrass, address any resident or family concerns, and make sure we are all on the same page for the day ahead.
It is also a moment filled with a few good laughs and positive energy before the day really starts cranking.

These meetings help keep our team strong, connected, and focused on what matters most, providing the very best for our residents and their families.🩵
