🐾💕 Darlin’ had a very special visitor! Richard — the former Seagrass Village of Daphne mailman and Darlin’s #1 boyfriend — stopped by after work to bring her treats and plenty of love. She was over the moon to see him! 🐶💌

Last night was a blast! Our facility was decked out with table-top games, and Residents and families gathered around for some friendly competition. We played Bingo, Pictionary, and a few rounds of Trivia — and the laughter and cheers echoed through the evening.🧩

Even today, residents are still talking about how much fun they had and how great it felt to connect with other residents in a casual, playful way.

Thank you to everyone who came out, brought energy, and made it such a memorable night. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🧩🎯

💖 A Surprise Birthday Celebration for Our Dear Concierge Lee!💖

Friday afternoon was extra special at Seagrass Village of Daphne as we honored a very important person: Lee, our amazing Concierge. We’ve been planning this surprise for over a week—and it was worth every whispered plan, every closed door. When Lee walked in, she was totally surprised. And the best moment came when she saw her family there too—her eyes lit up, and so did ours!

Our residents and staff all wore pink to show our love and appreciation for Lee and for everything she does. Her dedication, kindness, and heart make Seagrass Village such a warm, caring place.

Thank you, Lee, for bringing joy, comfort, and compassion to our community every single day. We hope your milestone birthday as is wonderful as you are! 💐

We had a delicious time at our monthly resident recipe demo, thanks to Mrs. Sue! 🧡 She shared her homemade Pumpkin Delight, and let me tell you — one slice was never enough.

Layers of creamy pumpkin filling, sweet whipped topping, and a crust that hit just right had everyone asking for seconds (and thirds!). 🍰

Thanks so much, Mrs. Sue, for bringing warmth, flavor, and a little extra joy to our table this month. Who’s ready to try making this at home? 🎃

We are thrilled to introduce you to one of our amazing residents, Mr. Kenneth Canton.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Kenneth enjoys a relaxed retirement filled with the things he loves most: starting his mornings with a good cup of coffee, sharing meals, and staying true to his guiding values of Honesty, faith and truthfulness.

Kenneth is a big Alabama Crimson Tide - Roll Tide Daily football fan 🏈, and he can always get excited talking about the game! He also enjoys reading adventure books that keep his imagination alive and watching classic Western movies that never go out of style.

One of his favorite topics of conversation is the history of money and how it’s made—a passion that always makes for lively discussions. With strong family ties and a warm personality, Kenneth reminds us of all to live fully and cherish each day. His goal is simple yet powerful: to live life as long and as well as he can.

Yesterday was National Hat Day, and our residents really brought the fun! We saw Halloween hats, sunflower caps, and colorful tie-dye hats all making bold statements. Big thanks to everyone who joined in and let their style shine!
