🌟 Employee of the Month Spotlight: Daphne! 🌟

Please help us congratulate Daphne, our November Employee of the Month at Seagrass Village of Daphne!

Daphne joined our Seagrass family on May 2, 2024, and we have watched her grow tremendously in her time here. Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for serving our residents, she earned a well-deserved promotion from Culinary Assistant to Cook—and she has continued to shine ever since.

Her positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn make her an invaluable part of our Culinary Team. Our residents absolutely love her, and so do we!

Congratulations, Daphne! We are so proud of you and grateful for everything you do for our community.

🍂✨ What a beautiful Friendsgiving celebration! Tonight, we gathered with family and friends for a truly special evening. Huge thanks to Angel and her incredible culinary team for preparing a delicious family-style feast, complete with turkey, ham, rolls, collards, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, cranberry dressing, and a mouthwatering assortment of desserts. 🍗🥔🥧

It was an evening full of laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories. So grateful for the opportunity to share this moment with our wonderful residents and their families. A truly excellent event for some truly excellent people. 💛🍽️

Malt Shop Monday took us right back in time! Banana splits, classic jukebox tunes, soda jerk hats, and plenty of laughter filled the room. Smiles all around and another happy hour for the books. 🎵🎶

November 14th was National Pickle Day… so can you guess what we were up to during Friday Happy Hour? 🥒

We went all in on the pickle treats! Residents and staff sampled Dill Pickle Chips, classic Dill Pickles, string cheese, cheese cubes, and the star of the show… Dill Pickles wrapped in Fruit Roll-Ups!

Believe it or not, the “weird” combo was a crowd favorite — more people liked it than expected! 😂

Nothing hits the spot like a hot meal on a cold day! Yesterday’s lunch was pure comfort — turkey and gravy, green beans, a baked potato, a warm roll, and a sweet treat to top it off. 🍽️❄️❤️

All week our residents have been buzzing with curiosity! On Monday, we handed out cards hinting that a special announcement would be revealed at Wednesday’s Happy Hour. When the day finally came, everyone gathered to solve a picture-puzzle of clues — laughter filled the room as they tried to piece it all together.

Then came the big reveal… our wonderful in-house physical therapist with Select Rehab , Katie, is expecting! 🎉

We’re beyond excited to celebrate her and to welcome the very first Seagrass Baby! 💕 Katie’s compassion and care for our residents mean so much to our community, and we can’t wait to share in this joyful new chapter with her.
