On Fast Food Fridays, we to go out to eat! We recently grabbed some food from Nothing Bundt Cakes, Culver’s, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Sometimes we dine in at restaurants, and sometimes we take food on the go as a treat after a big trip or during sight-seeing drives. We saw some beautiful cars and trains at the nationalmuseumoftransportation in St. Louis. There was a cranberry colored car once owned by James Dean, as well as a couple owned by Jay Leno. We especially enjoyed the section highlighting car making from St. Louis. The trains were very cool too! Audrey wanted a photo in front of a model of the Eads Bridge!

Beautiful day for The Walk to End Alzheimers in St Charles County! The volunteers and this event continue to amaze us each year. The Barathaven Team took Polaroid photos of walkers along the route and the purple dinosaur came along with new dance moves this year. We love running into all the familiar faces and our families walking to support the Alzheimers Association and finding a cure for this terrible disease.

Our trip to the Mid America Veteran’s Museum taught us quite a bit about the history of the military. Our guides were knowledgeable veterans who even told stories of some local men and women who served our country. Terry said it was nice to see these veterans getting the honor they deserve.
