I attended a women's networking event yesterday where we had to draw a random "word". These words would then be applied to either a story or message related to your business.

Limitless.

In 2018, I was a burnt out health professional, barely getting 2,000 steps in a day. I asked myself, "what's the point in owning a business if I don't have control over my calendar?" It was then that I decided to make a change.

- Limiting belief #1 - " I don't have time...."

I decided to see patients 30 minutes earlier and 30 minutes later, giving myself an additional hour in the day. The gym was three minutes from my office. I figured, if I stopped working at 11:30 am, attended a 30 min HIIT class, showered, and got back to the office; I could then eat lunch and prep for my patients starting at 1:30.

This one major change in my calendar made a HUGE difference in my life. It changed everything.

During that time - I fell in love with triathlon. The triathlon journey was full of limiting beliefs. They wanted us swimming 500 - 750 yards. At the time I remember thinking, "there's no way." Now, 2100 yards sound like a workout. They wanted us to bike 15 miles, then 25-32 miles, and then 45-62 miles.... you bet I said to myself, "I can't do that." ....but of course I did.

Limiting belief #2 - "I can't do that...." or "There's no way...."

As a business owner, we have visions that challenge our beliefs and how far/big we can really go.

In our health, we struggle with limiting beliefs like, "I can't cut out sugar" or "I don't like vegetables" or "I can't cook" etc...

Mistake 1: Going from zero to 100🏃‍♀️

Mistake 2: Too vague. You say you want to get healthier this year. What does healthy mean to you?

Mistake 3: Relying on motivation. Motivation fades, habits last.

TRY THIS INSTEAD:
Start with ONE small change.

Make it measurable. Add 2,000 steps daily by the end of Jan.

Habit stack. Add a healthy habit next to what you already do.

Rest & Digest. Can we do it at the same time? 🤔

Its Q4 crunch time and there's so much to do!

Many of you are shoveling food down during or in between meetings/responding to emails, not giving your brain a moment to tell the gut its time to digest. This causes bloating, gas, and indigestion.

Some skip lunch all together, putting you in a hangry state.

Today, I found myself needing a session to focus my mind and not having much time. I decided to try out Dr. Patrick Porter's 15 min "AM Focus" while slowly eating some fresh, cold water fish.

The result:
- A brain boost of positivity
- I feel calmer and ready to take on my afternoon calls
- I really do feel focused.

Even though I wasnt sitting with my eyes closed like a typical BrainTap Session, I had the calming blue light still flashing in my periphery. I still had the blue and red light therapy on my ears, the biaurnal beats, and guided visualuzation of focused productivity.
