Why do newborns need Vitamin K?

Babies are born with very little Vitamin K in their bodies, but they need it to help their blood clot properly. Without it, babies are more likely to develop a serious bleeding condition called Vitamin K Deficiency Bleeding.

Meet our newest provider, Ben Harrison, LCSW. Ben specializes in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and challenging behaviors, using Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT to help kids and families thrive.

When Ben isn’t in sessions, there’s a 90% chance he’s either spending time with his family or woodworking. For the past five years, he’s spent many evenings at the lathe creating bowls, vases, and one-of-a-kind artistic pieces.
