On Monday, Unite the USA named our own Dr. William Venanzi, and his wife Jude, as ‘Veterans of the Day’!
In honoring the Venanzis, here’s what the organization had to say —
"With 25 yrs of USAF service, Col. Venanzi was the Chief of the Medical Staff at Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center. He served in four deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan as Critical Care Air Transport Team Physician, where he amassed over 300 combat flight hours and was responsible for the successful transportation of over 1000 critically ill and wounded US and coalition service members. Col. Venanzi now lives in Centerville Ohio with his wife of 29yrs, Jude Venanzi, herself a veteran of 10 years service as USAF nurse."
