Three incredible days at Ascension Dermatology in Appleton, Wisconsin. 🙌
We trained two brand new Mohs techs and fine-tuned overall lab skill sets — and the growth was evident.
Trinity, a returning Mohs tech, showed marked improvement, a drive to succeed, and a bright future ahead. Cheryl, coming out of retirement after 7 months (because she truly loves what she does!), brings decades of experience — a histology technician since 1984 with additional skills in phlebotomy. Her knowledge will be invaluable to the future of this lab.
Isabel, brand new to Mohs, demonstrated excellent processing skills and a sharp, efficiency-focused mindset — one I remember striving for when I first entered this field in 2013.
As we grow, we learn to prioritize quality without forcing the process — adapting and improving with every case. That’s the gold standard.
It was an honor working alongside Dr. Tam Nguyen — a wonderful surgeon whose heart for his clinical and lab team is unmistakable.
