Health Tip from Five Rivers Health Centers!

This month, we want to focus on the importance of washing our hands. Teaching helpful handwashing tips can help individuals, and their communities, with staying healthy!

1. Wet your hands with clean running water (warm or cold) then apply soap
2. Lather hands by rubbing them together. Get the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails
3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds
4. Rinse hands under clean water to remove soap

Tomorrow is Global Accessibility Awareness Day!

We are beyond proud to say Five Rivers Health Centers use 49 different languages to communicate effectively with our patients by using virtual translators. In all of our centers, you will find translations in: English, Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, and Kinyarwanda!

Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit, in Dayton, and their mission is to build community partnerships and provide home rehabilitation for low-income Dayton area homeowners, particularly the elderly, so they can live in warmth, safety, and independence.

We always look forward to partnering with Rebuilding Together, and we encourage individuals to volunteer and help their community when they can!
