🌟A huge thank you to Hannah and Rose from Sanctuary Night for joining us today to provide an insightful and powerful training on Harm Reduction with Vulnerable Populations. Your expertise, lived experience, and compassionate approach helped our entire team deepen our understanding of trauma-informed care and practical strategies for supporting women experiencing complex challenges.
Sanctuary Night is a community-centered drop-in space in Columbus that provides a safe place for women at risk of sexual exploitation and other vulnerabilities to rest, connect, and access essential resources — including meals, showers, clothing, hygiene items, peer support, case management, and harm reduction tools like Narcan. Their survivor-led model demonstrates how dignity and non-judgmental care contribute to meaningful connection and real pathways to stability.
We’re grateful for partnerships like this that elevate our collective impact and help us better serve individuals and families in our community. Our staff members walked away today with new insights, practical strategies, and renewed commitment to meeting people where they are with compassion and skill.
Thank you again, Hannah and Rose — your time, passion, and expertise are deeply appreciated!
