Every appointment makes a difference, and right now we need 800 more appointments in the next week to help keep blood on the shelf for patients in our community.

Spring break slowed appointments down, but hospital needs did not. Blood is still needed every day for cancer treatment, trauma care, surgeries, and emergencies.❤️

Ohio Northern University showed up in a big way. Thanks to Sigma Phi Epsilon - Ohio Alpha , ONU students turned out with 27 lifesaving donors. Even more powerful: 23 donors were first-time donors.

Mascot Klondike made a surprise appearance to cheer everyone on.

To every student and SigEp who rolled up a sleeve: you gave patients and families something real to hold onto.

Here’s what’s coming up:
⚾ April 10 – Dayton Dragons Day at the Donor Center at 349 S. Main St.
Donate blood and receive 🎟️ TWO Dragons game tickets (while supplies last!). Plus, meet the mascot from 12-1 PM.

🎉🐰 That’s one BIG bunny and one BIG heart!
Congratulations to Holly Risner on winning this year’s 35-pound chocolate bunny from Esther Price Candies!

Holly donated blood for the first time in honor of Matthew Yates ❤️ — turning her gift into a powerful tribute.

Thanks to donors like Holly, this school blood drive collected 93 units of blood, helping save nearly 280 lives. 🩸
