Today we want to take a moment to honor someone incredibly special to our Veda Men’s Recovery family.

This is Jimmy.
Jimmy works hard, helps everyone around him, speaks fluent Boston, and spends his free time being emotionally supported by his cat Larry 🐾

Jimmy shows up every single day with commitment, compassion, and a heart that makes this place feel like home.

He reminds all of us that strength isn’t about never struggling — it’s about choosing to keep going, to keep loving, and to keep believing in others even on difficult days. That is who Jimmy is.

Huge blessings happening New City Church -Dayton

First we want to thank all of our community members for all their help bringing us supplies for our upcoming highways and bike paths outreach.

We packed over 100 bags with hygiene, hats, gloves, socks, personal items, snacks, and love.

Sunday we hit the pavement with The Hope Spot Chris Parsons with Parsons Project Ministry Harmony Women's Recovery Dola Mae Foundation to help those in need.

What a blessing it is to be able to show up, share the love of Jesus, and help another.

🔥 Fuel the Warmth Campaign Update – We Need Your Help! 🔥

We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and support we’ve received so far toward our furnace campaign at New City Church Dayton.

A generous member of the Northridge community has stepped up to take on the repair and replacement of our four furnaces for a reduced cost of $13,500. Right now, we are focusing on getting the first two furnaces repaired—these heat our sanctuary, lobby, and kids’ wing, the heart of our church’s ministry space.

To move forward, we need to raise $7,500 for this first phase.
We currently have $5,300, which means we only need $2,200 more to meet our goal! 🙌

Your donation—no matter the amount—brings us closer to keeping our building warm, welcoming, and ready to serve our community through meals, recovery meetings, clothing distribution, and outreach to those in need.
