Never underestimate the power of taking your daughter on regular daddy daughter dates.
A daughterโs relationship with her father impacts her expectations and behavior in relationships later on in life. It also gives a father and a daughter time to bond and connect, which builds a relationship.
Daddy Daughter dates provide an opportunity for dadโs to stay involved in their daughterโs lives and can provide an opportunity to boost their daughterโs self-esteem, not just about her looks but about her character traits.

Dayton is closing the gap on childrenโs mental health services!
Yesterday, we unveiled the first inpatient behavioral health unit in our 50 year history as a free-standing, independent childrenโs hospital. The goal of this unit is to stabilize a child in crisis in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment then connect that child to ongoing outpatient therapy. The 24- bed unit will begin accepting patients on July 9, 2019 and the average expected length of stay will be four days. It was designed with safety as the highest priority.
