I presented at the Aspiring Author Summit in Cedar Rapids, IA today. Typically I present about periods — and not the punctuation kind. 😂 Today I spoke about overcoming writer’s block using Biblical wisdom, writing techniques, and integrative nutrition health insights. It was a blast being with other Hearts Unleashed House authors and those aspiring to share their testimonies with the world.

Thank you. I have no other way to explain the success of this book beyond God did it. He put this idea on my heart, He helped me through writing, and He brought you to it and nudged you to order it. I have taken some time off the last week from the excitement of becoming a best selling author with a number one new release. I can’t even believe it. Reality needed to sink in.

For the longest time I DREADED getting my period. Every month it was like I was bracing for war with my body.

With more knowledge and wisdom around my body, its functions, and the support of the one true creator, I was able to ditch these negative feelings and focus on the excitement.

🍂 Luteal Phase Prayer 🍂

Jesus,
Some days in this phase feel like a storm. I can feel so much, so quickly.
I don’t want to run from my emotions—I want to run to You with them.
If something is surfacing, help me sit with it.
If I’m being too harsh on myself, speak Your kindness louder.
Remind me that I’m not a burden for feeling deeply.
Steady my heart, especially when I doubt myself.
Teach me to rest before I break, not just after.
You are my rhythm when mine feels off.
Hold me steady, Lord.
Amen.

When everything feels like too much… God isn’t asking you to hold it all together. You don’t need to numb it—bring it to Jesus.
