Have you noticed how your body feels at the end of the year? A tight chest. Shallow breaths. The feeling of carrying more than anyone sees.

Your nervous system isn’t wrong. It’s signaling, “I’m overloaded.”

Scripture understands this feeling. Advent is a story of people waiting, longing, hoping, and trying to stay steady in uncertainty.

And God doesn’t ask us to “get it together first.” He meets us in the swirl.

When you pause, breathe, or whisper His name, something shifts. Your body softens. Your brain begins to settle. Not because everything changed—but because you’re not carrying it alone.
 “Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
 What emotion is your body quietly trying to tell you about today?

But freedom begins when we slow down enough to notice what’s happening inside–our patterns, pain, and longings–and allow someone to hold space as we rediscover our voice and the parts of our story that still ache to be known.
