We had a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day at Hillside Village with a beautiful brunch for our residents and families! 🌸💐

Everyone enjoyed delicious food, sweet treats, and meaningful time spent together making special memories. Our dining room was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much love throughout the celebration. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We loved honoring all of the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who mean so much to our community.

To all the moms out there — Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for the love, strength, comfort, and kindness you give so freely each and every day. The impact of a mother’s love lasts a lifetime, and today we celebrate all of the beautiful women who have helped shape our lives and hearts. 🌷

Today, we also hold close the memories of the mothers and mother figures we have lost. Their love, wisdom, and presence continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved them. Thinking of everyone who may be missing someone special this Mother’s Day. 💕

🎉🇲🇽 We had a fiesta-filled Cinco de Mayo celebration here at Hillside! 🇲🇽🎉

Our residents enjoyed a day packed with fun, laughter, and delicious food featuring:
🌮 Tacos de asada street tacos
🍍 Refreshing agua fresca de piña
🪅 A colorful piñata
🎲 Mexican bingo — Lotería style!

There’s nothing better than seeing our residents and their families come together to laugh, create, and make memories. From colorful masterpieces to a few “abstract” surprises 😉, every painting told its own story.

Cheers to good times and great company! 🍹🎶

We recently hosted a lively Happy Hour here at Hillside, and it was one to remember! Our residents enjoyed delicious drinks, plenty of laughter, and fantastic live entertainment from The Music Man, who had everyone tapping their toes and singing along.

There’s nothing better than bringing our community together to relax, connect, and enjoy moments like these. Thank you to The Music Man for filling the room with music and joy—we can’t wait to have you back!

We had such a wonderful time on our recent outing to the KU Natural History Museum! 🦴✨

Our residents enjoyed exploring fascinating exhibits, discovering pieces of history, and taking in all the unique sights the museum has to offer. From incredible fossils to cultural artifacts, there was something for everyone to enjoy—and plenty of great conversations along the way!

Getting out into the community and creating meaningful experiences like this is something we truly cherish. Thank you to the amazing staff and volunteers at KU for helping make our visit so memorable!

We had a deliciously fun time celebrating National Chickpea Day here at Hillside! 🥣✨

Our residents enjoyed a cozy bowl of chickpea soup along with some tasty hummus—proof that simple, wholesome foods can bring big smiles. It was a great way to try something nutritious, flavorful, and just a little bit different!

Who knew chickpeas could be the star of the day? 😄
