When it comes to the lamps, the pink salt is thought to release negative ions into your space, which would be able to get rid of dust particles that may affect your health, thus purifying your space and helping the air quality of your home. Because of that, many believe that it can do everything from increasing your energy levels to alleviating symptoms of allergies. Some people say these pink salt lamps can even help boost your overall mood and help you sleep more soundly.

With all the oak pollen floating around now, it may be a great time to try one out for yourself.

The kidneys filter waste products, excess water, and other impurities from your blood. These waste products are stored in your bladder and later expelled through urine.

Your kidneys regulate pH, salt, and potassium levels in your body. They also produce hormones that regulate blood pressure and control the production of red blood cells.

Maintaining kidney health is important to your overall health and general well-being. By keeping your kidneys healthy, your body will filter and expel waste properly and produce hormones to help your body function properly.

Tips for Kidney heath include:
πŸ’§ Drink lots of fluids
✌ Stay fit and active
πŸ”₯ Avoid Smoking
πŸ₯— Control your blood sugar and blood pressure
πŸ’Š Be aware of how many OTC pills you take

This season is about the element of water and the organ associated with it are the Kidneys.

The emotion associated with the Kidney is fear. The Kidneys are deeply rooted in our body. Oftentimes, fear is the same way. We may not be aware that we are in fear until it has been with us a long time. Longstanding fear can weaken the kidneys. Since the Kidney’s oversee our water metabolism and control the bladder, we oftentimes will see urinary issues, lowered sexual drive and water metabolism issues with longstanding fear.

The Kidneys contain the root energy of all our organs and spark the energy of the whole body.

Take time this season to nourish you body with lots of relaxation and fluids. also, stay warm - the kidneys are traditionally considered sensitive to cold, so rug up in chilly weather and take particular care to avoid letting your lower back get cold πŸŒ™

Living in Harmony with the Seasons ❄️

In traditional chinese medicine, Winter is associated with water, the element of pooling, tranquility and flow.

In the body, the water element is connected with circulation of the blood, perspiration, tears, the bladder and, most significantly, the kidney.

This is the season of stillness, where nature seems to be at rest. It is a good season to look into our depths, to reconnect to our inner being, to befriend the darkness within us and around us.

Some tips include:
πŸ§₯ Keep your back covered! In traditional Chinese medicine, it’s important to keep your kidneys warm in winter.
🍲Eat warming foods such as hearty soups
πŸ™‡β€β™€οΈPractice fluid exercises like Tai Chi, qigong or yoga
🚣Sit in the whirlpool or steam room, or take a stroll near a creek or the sea. Treat yourself to a long, warm bath, a nap, or the time to simply lie back and relax.
