Happy Mother’s Day to all of our wonderful ladies! 🌸
We celebrated Mother’s Day with a very special Ice Cream Social, and what a joyful and fun time we shared together. From the laughter and smiles to the sweet treats and wonderful company, it was truly a beautiful day filled with love and happiness. We hope you enjoy all of the pictures — even though there are quite a few! Each one captures a special memory from such a meaningful celebration.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this day so memorable. Everyone enjoyed the delicious Tillamook Ice Cream. Thank you to all of the amazing helpers who created such tasty sundaes, served drinks, and made sure everyone had plenty to eat and enjoy throughout the event. The delicious cookies were also a big hit with everyone!
Most of all, we celebrate the incredible ladies here at Imboden Creek Gardens. Your warmth, kindness, strength, and love make our community so special every single day.

We had such a wonderful time today! 🎶
Here’s a picture of our talented bells group—they truly make the most beautiful music together. It’s always a joy to listen and be part of such a special group.
And of course, a big congratulations to Kathy, our Farkle champion of the day! 🎲 We all gave her a run for her money, but she managed to come out on top. Well played!

Did someone say cake? 🍰 We sure did! Our residents whipped up a delicious strawberry cake, complete with strawberry icing and topped with fresh sliced strawberries. It was perfectly moist, full of flavor, and an absolute treat for everyone.
Safe to say it didn’t last long—and yes, they made sure to take an extra piece home for later! 🍓✨

Some residents had super lucky cards and were racking up wins, while others… well, not so much. But that’s the way bingo goes!
Win or lose, everyone joined in on the laughs, the excitement, and the good times—and that’s what really makes it a win 💛

Dice Bingo: equal parts chaos and comedy 🎲😂
Those unlucky 7s showed up way too often—seriously, who invited them?! But no matter how hard they tried to sabotage us, we refused to let them kill the vibe.
Still had an absolute blast and laughed the whole time. 7s may have rolled strong, but we rolled stronger 😎🎉

Our community Spotlight for this week is Tillamook!

Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) opened a new ice cream manufacturing facility in Decatur, Illinois, in June 2025, marking its first production site outside Oregon. This plant, located in a revitalized former dairy facility, is dedicated solely to ice cream production, including family-size (48 oz.) and food-service (3-gallon) products, to serve the growing demand in the eastern U.S. The investment created 50 new jobs, with plans to expand as production scales up to an expected 15.5 million gallons annually.

Another HUGE comeback win today—seriously one for the books! 🙌
We had a showdown between the front row and the back row, and for a while it looked like the back row had it locked up with a big lead. But then… the front row turned it ALL around. The energy shifted, the momentum built, and they stormed back to take the win! 🔥
Games like this are exactly why Wheel of Fortune is so much fun to play—anything can happen right up until the very end! We all had a great time!!

After the bells today, we gathered together and filled the room with music the residents love. From classic Dean Martin and Tennessee Ernie Ford hymns to favorites by Connie Francis and Elvis, every song brought smiles and memories to life. These moments of music and connection are truly special—love our time together!

Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week!
I truly can’t say enough about how much I appreciate these two incredible ladies. They are always there for me whenever I need them—which, honestly, is quite often! Their dedication, kindness, and constant support mean more than words can express.
Jackie and Leslie have been part of ICG for many years, giving their time and hearts to support our activity department. They genuinely love our residents, and it shows—because the residents absolutely love them right back.
Jackie and Leslie, please know how deeply appreciated and loved you both are. Thank you for always showing up, for caring so much, and for making such a difference every single day. We are beyond grateful for you!

In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our church family at Faith Baptist Church of South Shores. We are truly thankful for the time and dedication you show by visiting us each month on the third Tuesday.
Your visits bring so much joy and encouragement. From singing together and sharing in prayer, to hearing a meaningful message from the pastor and enjoying fellowship, each moment is a blessing to us all. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment make a lasting difference in our lives.
