Today was National Peanut Butter Fudge Day, and we celebrated in the sweetest way possible! We passed out peanut butter fudge to the residents at lunchtime, and it was an instant hit.
We had two big containers of fudge… or so we thought. One mysteriously went missing, only to turn up at Lolly’s table. As you can see from her picture, she tried to sneakily hide the whole container under her napkin—like we wouldn’t notice! 🤣🤣
Don’t worry, we eventually found her secret stash. We all had a huge laugh over Lolly’s fudge heist!

Our Thankful Tree is blossoming beautifully as residents, staff, and visitors add more and more leaves—each one filled with a heartfelt note of gratitude. ❤️
It’s been wonderful watching our community come together in this meaningful way. What about you?

This Week’s Spotlight: Paw Print Ministries
Today, Paw Print Ministries visited our residents, and we all enjoyed sharing love and affection with Freda and Jovie. Paw Print Ministries has been truly dedicated, faithfully visiting our community each month, and we are deeply grateful for their continued commitment.
Their therapy dogs and handlers offer comfort and support not only to our residents, but also to individuals and students in other communities during times of hardship or tragedy. Their presence has brought peace and reassurance to countless people. Thank you, Paw Print Ministries, for the meaningful work you do. Your dedication and compassion are greatly appreciated.

Today we created Thanksgiving cards using our fingerprints for the leaves. Each tree came out with its own unique personality. They’re absolutely beautiful—our residents did an amazing job!

Meet the Team:
Rebecca Fraze recently celebrated her four-year anniversary with The Gardens on November 10th. She is a proud mom of a childhood cancer hero, and in her
free time she enjoys ballet and singing. Her favorite animals are wolves, horses, and snakes. She’s been happily married for nine years. She is very passionate about being there for her residents, and nothing makes her happier than seeing their smiling faces each day.

✨ Martha has finally conquered her Kisses puzzle—David’s delightfully tricky gift! With teeny-tiny pieces that tried very hard to outsmart her, she powered through like a puzzle-solving legend. Now it’s complete, sparkling, and absolutely lovely.

Fresh Home-Baked Bread!
Our very own Manuela baked two loaves of bread at home and brought another to work today to bake in our community room oven. The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the space and created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
This afternoon, our residents enjoyed slices of the warm bread served with butter, strawberry jam, and apple butter. It was absolutely delicious!
Thank you, Manuela, for this thoughtful gesture and for bringing such joy to our residents.
