My Story
I grew up wanting to be the medicine man (think Sean Connery) and landed dual degrees in horticulture and anthropology from Penn State because of that dream. After graduation, I hopped in my Grand Am and headed from PA to Atlanta to start my dream job of educating people about plants with a small garden center. Quickly I learned that small business had so many more layers and I immediately found my true love. I set off to learn everything I could about every aspect of business and soon obtained my MBA. 20 years later, 12 of which I spent running my own businesses.
When I'm not working, I'm usually at a local park hiking, running trails or playing with my daughter. When it's not football season (go Steelers!), I am reading sci-fi or working on projects around the house. I love meeting new people and learning about the ups and downs of small business, so please feel free to share your story with me.
