When I was young, I was pretty sure I would be what when I grew up? A home designer
The best piece of advice I have ever been given and who gave you this advice? “There’s two sides to every story.” – my mom, "This too shall pass." - my mom and “Don’t out do someone else’s story.” - my Sunday school teacher, Tom Clouse
If I weren’t so good at my job, I would probably be: In customer service or an office position
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? Auctions, flea markets, traveling, car shows, hanging out with friends, singing as worship leader at church, architecture, and trying new restaurants or places to eat.
Are you a sport’s fan? If so, who do you root for? Not really a sport’s fan, but would root for the “under dog” team.
What is your favorite food and/or your favorite place to eat? 1) I don’t cook, so anyplace that serves food is a great place! 2) Chinese, Italian, and Mexican
Do you have a favorite quote? Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” And “Just because you’ve lost your fuzz don’t mean you ain’t a peach.” – Dolly Parton on being follically challenged
What is your favorite TV show or movie? Currently: Ghost and The Chosen – I enjoy the old tv shows/re-runs: Mischief (1986) and classic comedies: Airplane, Naked Gun, and SpaceBalls
What is your favorite book? East of Eden, autobiographies, and The Bible
What is one thing on your bucket list? Travel to states that I have not yet gone to, restoring my 1966 Plymouth Fury III (in the process)
What is your favorite part about working at Liby Monuments? I enjoy creating memorial frames, holiday ornaments, and candles for Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes. Also, being a part of creating an everlasting memorial to honor a family’s loved one and working with a great group at Liby’s and Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes.
