Dana DeShiro a Registered Yoga Teacher & Registered Children's Yoga Teacher & Social Worker. Dana (she/her) is a RYT and RCYT.

Off the mat, Dana is a clinical social worker. Dana has been practicing yoga for over 15 years, helping her to grow stronger, more flexible and authentic both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires Dana to be present and live each moment with intention, passion ad fun. Dana's yoga practice in influenced by Ayurveda, the ebb and flow of the seasons and the chakra system. Dana is enthusiastic about sharing the physical and emotional benefits go yoga, meditation and mindfulness with children and adults. On the mat, Dana brings her playful, warm, joyful spirit and sense of humor to her classes.

This 75-minute yoga class will be infused with essential oils to enhance grounding, calming, and relaxation, while creating a soothing atmosphere. As you practice, the scents will help deepen your connection to the flow and the music, making for a more immersive and enjoyable yoga flow!

Come kick off February school vacation week with a TWEENS Yoga Class at Open Doors!! 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏿🧘🏽‍♂️

February 17th from noon- 1pm.

This class is for any tween whether you’ve done yoga before or if this your very first time.

Class will be 60 minutes long and we will focus on tools that can reduce stress, promote positive body image, and increase strength & flexibility.

This is a trauma sensitive & inclusive class for all individuals. GLBTQIA+ affirming and accessible for all. ✨

Namaste, yogis. If you are looking for individual, group or couples yoga classes, please feel free to reach out.

Off the mat, I am a clinical social worker, working with children, adolescents and adults. I understand the profound effect of the intersectionality between one’s mental, physical and emotional health. On the mat, I bring a playful (often silly), warm, bubbly and trauma-informed approach to yoga. My yoga practice is heavily influenced by the Chakra system, Ayurveda (the sister science to yoga) and the Doshas. I received my yoga teacher training (RYT-200) from the Boston Center of Contemplative Practice in Newton, MA and I am currently enrolled in an certification program through YogaED to teach children’s yoga. I am CPR and first aid certified.

I look forward to sharing my practice with you.
