I created this page when i went on my first mission trip in Jan 2015 so that friends, family, and others could follow my adventures. I keep adding with more trips to share my experience and allow you to follow me!! Enjoy!!

In the hotel leaving tomorrow!! Finished a good working week, I alone saw 30 patients sent by the 4 providers for PT!! Lots of education needed for pain management and body mechanics that hopefully can be done with carry over to reduce pain and strain on these heavy working folks!!
A good trip!! Contemplation for next time...

I started this for my first trip to Guatemala in 2016!! Tomorrow I leave for my 6th time to Guatemala and 11th overall trip!! Excited!

Hey..just an update...my mom was fighting an elegant battle with ALS until 3/3/24! So from last May til this March, i was traveling back and forth to Buffalo. This affected my Guatemala trip in Feb where i could not go with my team. I was sad to miss out but knew i needed to spend that time with my mom!! And was very glad i did!!
Looking forward to upcoming trips next fall and early winter!!
Let the trip planning begin!!!

So the trip to Guatemala is happening on feb 4th but due to family stuff, i am unable to go this time and am very sad!! Hope my awesome team has a great trip and does well!! I hope they also miss my PT efforts while there! But the cool thing is, there are some other rehab professionals going this time too!! Which is why i should be there!!! So sorry to not be able to but need to be local for the time being!

Well, it's been about a year. But exciting news! I am headed back to Cape Verde on November 12th! This time staying on the island of Santiago and helping in the hospital In Asamado.
I will be helping the hospital physical therapist do some treatments. I hope I remember any outpatient and acute care skills that I may need! Wish me luck!

Our Story

Now it is 2018, and i am about to go on my 5th mission trip!! This time to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to do physical therapy with other therapists. Really looking forward to this!
