This is for women called to the mythical depths of the heroine's journey. Walking between the worlds of the sacred and the mundane requires a pause from society to intentionally go deep into your psyche connecting with the collective psyche, deep into ceremony, deep into the temple of your body and connect to the place where the rhythms of Mother Earth connect with the rhythms of your heart and soul. This is the place where the messages surface of what is needed in these times. It requires us to step away from all that pulls at our attention and tune in deeply to know where to go from here.

We (Katie Maguire Chiaravolloti, Laurie Martinez Duncan & Kristin Wilson) will be offering a 4 day retreat on the Spring Equinox of 2026. This retreat is designed to support you as we transition out of winter into the new beginning of spring and learn exactly what is needed for us and from us in these times of of Great Change and what some refer to as polycrisis. More than ever we require time to go deep, become clear, nourish and nurture our body and soul, and do this together in ceremonial space.

We will weave together embodied dreamwork, storytelling, somatics & movement, creative expression, and ritual to create a mythical experience together.

We have a lot of reasons to be angry these days and very little places where our anger is welcome, encouraged, and honored as sacred. We welcome your personal anger, relational anger, political anger, environmental anger, etc. I, Kristin Wilson, will support you in expressing and embodying your anger in a way that feels safe, controlled and fully empowered. These skills are essential in these times. We first must embody the changes we want to see in the world.

This is the second of a series of four Ecotherapy workshops designed to tend to our four primary emotions: grief, anger, fear, and joy. We will work with the element of fire here at the farm. This workshop is for you no matter where you are on the spectrum of anger. This is an opportunity to honor it, work with the healing power of fire, and tend to our embers to bring greater balance and deepen our relationships with Nature and ourselves.

As a therapist, I'm working with an organization called Headway to manage all my billing. They did the work to credential me with insurance companies. I no longer need to pay Simple Practice or any other platform to manage my record keeping, as all that is done through the Headway portal. We are re-opening registration for our Shadow Work Weekend that was moved from October to April 11-13th due to Hurricane Helene.

I want to thank everyone for your patience and care as we continue efforts to recover from Hurricane Helene which caused us to reschedule this Shadow Work Weekend from October to April. It will be a gift come April, start of spring, for folks to come to WNC to support our economic recovery while we support your own growth, healing, and transformation. And for my WNC friends, this weekend may be exactly what you need after we have gone through so much after the hurricane.

You can register now for our April weekend! Please don't hesitate. I have a feeling we will fill back up quickly for this weekend, and I don't know when we will be able another Shadow Work Weekend in Western North Carolina.

Life’s journey can be filled with unexpected twists, which I imagine will continue and probably amp up as we move into 2025. Here I share my own personal unexpected twists that occurred shortly after Hurricane Helene. This is my story about the miracle of pregnancy and the heartbreak of miscarriage. Through my journey of a miscarriage, I had the blessing of hearing many other people's stories of miscarriage. I would say almost half of those who shared, said they never previously told anyone about their experience. It breaks my heart and fires me up with anger at our society to know so many women have gone through this extremely painful experience all alone. So I decided not to be quiet about my experience and take this opportunity to share publicly to open the opportunity for connection and more open sharing for anyone touched by this experience, and for those who haven't to become more aware and comfortable talking about this.
