Happy 4th of July week! This week our office is closed Monday, Thursday and Friday . Our hours will be 8am to 3pm Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are a current patient and have an emergency please call Dr. Rubink @ 406-560-5424 and he will return your call as soon as possible. Our Dental office is looking for a Dental Assistant. Below are the details about the position. Please send a resume to deerlodgefamilydental@live.com and put in subject line "Dental Assistant Job". Questions, feel free to call the office 406-846-1216.

Job Offered: Dental Assistant
Hours offered: M-F 8am to 3pm through the school year with days off aligning with Deer Lodge School District, summer schedule hours differ and are less.
Pay: $15/hr for the first 90 days probationary period. Then raised up to $16/hr after a review and probationary period has ended. After 1st year another review and raise based on performance (currently paid weekly on Tuesdays following the week you worked.)

Benefits offered:
1.) All dental care for you, and your dependants (as determined by your tax filing status) at our office at no cost.
2.) 40 hours of vacation awarded during the first 90 days increased by 40 hours for a total of 80 hours for the year after you pass 90 day probationary period. These hours are awarded annually at the first of the year and on the basis you use them each year or get them paid out in the paycheck preceding Thanksgiving Day.
3.) After 90 day probationary period, in the year it is anticipated you will make over $5000, you will be offered to take part in our company Simple Plan, which at present matches up to 3% of your salary of what you chose to contribute.

Want to pay after hours? We have heard your requests and you will now find a payment drop box located on our front door. Speaking of hours, we are now in our Summer hours which means each week looks a little different. This is due to a history of increased no shows and appointment changes because everyone wants to be out enjoying the fabulous weather. We will update hours here each week during the summer. Enjoy the sun!

It was announced that football players could get free athletic mouthguards from our office tonight at junior high sports meeting. It is true we have done that in the past but have none presently because kids didn't really come get them from us so we stopped ordering them. We can do custom ones that are a little more expensive, molded to your teeth tightly, and take a couple of days to a week depending on demand. However, if you want one immediately that is inexpensive I did check with Ace Hardware and they are available for purchase there. Please go support Ace Hardware!

About Jaylee: "Hi my name is Jaylee Daniel. I moved to Deer Lodge two years ago. I graduated from Powell County High School in 2023. Im also a certified life guard and work at the CPC. I’m so excited to be apart of Deer Lodge Family Dental and learn about dentistry!

About Hadlee: "Hi my name is Hadlee Smith! I recently moved to Deer Lodge and I’m married to Tristan Smith! We try to be as involved in the community as possible! I am a certified master aesthetician in Utah as well as here in Montana! I’m so excited to be apart of the Deer Lodge Family Dental Family and to learn about dentistry! Can’t wait to see all of your beautiful smiles in the office!

Deer Lodge Family Dental is looking for someone who is interested in being a Dental Assistant. We need someone excited to learn, comfortable working with their hands, willing to work on computers, and comfortable interacting with people.
